That’s a tall hill to climb. Seeing that women have an equal shot at being a jw than men do, and are at bethel, and do peach, it doesn’t hold weight. Oh and they actually do most of the teaching of the public, just not from the platform.

i saw a topic on another forum where a sister was supposedly carrying the mics.

i was curious if this was even possible?

is it new light or just a lie?.

Technically, the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLS, MLB, are by definition “sexist” if we adopt dubs definition of sexism.

Women are forbidden from joining either league as player participants because they’re not men. Simple. Plain.

But sexism is defined by prejudice and discrimination. Pointing to the fact men can only play in the NBA or serve as elders is not itself sexism.

I chose my words deliberately. I wanted also to point out that sexism has nothing to do with this. It’s all about who is responsible to do what.

You are still writhing, I see, because you cannot give me a realistic scenario in which 100-500 kids are abuse and told not to call police in each country.

District Assemblies now being held at Circuit Assembly locations?

i haven't been to a kh in decades, so i get the google alerts for jws and i got one featuring a local news channel in brooklyn covering the assembly being held in flatbush, brooklyn.

i'm sure that venue is where the circuit assemblies are usually held, keeping in mind it's summer and that's when the district assemblies are being held.

why are they acting like they're so strapped for cash and now holding district assemblies in circuit assemblies locations ?.

Who knows? I am certainly not apathetic. I am In full swing. I wasn’t apathetic last year either.

A “PIMO” is not merely a brother not reaching out — a “PIMO” is a jw in name only.

As a person who didn’t reach out last year, it was because I didn’t feel like working at the convention, to be honest with you. I fully worked this year.

do not keep account of the injury?

i have a long time “friend” around my age, she and her husband are big sheeple who have been raised to practically worship elders and view their as police angels.

anyways, they recently arranged to have a meeting with the elders to ask for their blessing pretty much to go to a wedding of a relative of hers who is not in the best standing, (she just recently got baptized and her husband was recently reinstated) anyways, the elders told them of course that it was their choice, but warned them that every time they ask for the elders advice on something, it is recorded whether they heeded the advice or not and looked at for things such as ske school, which is a goal they have to do together.

and of course they advised them not to go so they didn’t, especially since they want to go to the ske school, and i guess they only accept people who let people have full control of their lives.

Still, if you’re preaching, you’re pretty much going to get baptized. It’s not like they’re counting UPs who don’t preach. If you don’t preach, you will no longer be a UP anyway.

Of course I know for a fact you have “PIMO” JWs. But compare that to the number of jws who care.
