Since there are/were many NGOs, also look up the 1992 requirements to qualify for DPI NGO status (which WT was).
Just saying, accusing someone of being in cahoots with the UN requires much more than selectively interpreting WT articles.
i would like as many people that can, to respond to this appeal as i am sure their are many examples out their that may help lurkers and fence sitters to make a decision on where they stand regarding the "truth".
i look forward to your comments either negative or plus..

Sanchy,
This why interpreting this stuff fails.
It does not give direct support for, nor does it directly oppose, God’s Kingdom IN THE CHARTER, which this is about.
So you cannot unequivocally say that it went against JW beliefs.

Sanchy, you said:
“By WT "signing the paper", it wasn't agreeing with just a generic goal of achieving peace, it was agreeing with the "blasphemous" goal of seeking such world peace without God.”
This will be spelled out in the 1992 charter/contract. Or are you, again, forcefully interpreting stuff?
Where is that language? Where did an NGO DPI have to support the UN and it’s goals as the means of achieving peace?

Sanchy,
if I have to “decipher” your arguments, they are convoluted.

I think my police analogy was appropriate.
I agree with the goals of police, to maintain peace in order, and to arrest criminals, etc.
I would even sign a piece of paper saying that I support those goals.
As long as there is no language that says I have to give support to my local PD as the ultimate solution to crime, I can sign it and not violate my beliefs.

I’ve got plenty left, sanchy my man!
You haven’t proven your case. You went from the YMCA, to blood banks, to your interpretation of principles, to agreeing they support peace, to agreeing with me that they don’t look to the UN, etc.
This is a prime example of people making stuff up as they go...

Faded Twice -
Of course I’m pointing out where I think I’m right. And you don’t?
You also said that the Revelation Book and Rutherford called to UN “Babylon the Great”.
In all the “research” you’ve allegedly done, you can’t find those quotes?
Do they exists?

You’re spinning it. First you bring up blood banks and the YMCA - that failed as those are not the UN.
Then you admit WT supports peace, as the UN does. Now you’re saying they don’t via the UN (which I stated initially).
Make up your mind.

Sanchy,
Doubling down doesn’t make your argument more truthful.
Vouching support for the UN to achieve its goals, and agreeing with it goals (the same ones you have) are really not nearly the same thing.
I agree with the goals of the police to maintain order. Does that mean I look to them as the ultimate solution over God?

Fink,
Read, slowly...1992...1992....1992.
The initial agreement is what matters most. Once they change and you find out, then you go from there.
