Do you guys ever listen to yourselves?
Ask yourself:
How can they destroy records on child abuse and maintain a child abuse database at the same time?

Ok, I should have used different wording for the uninitiated:
Rented convention venues are private property for the entire time WT rents them, because WT is a private organization.
Therefore, there is no “right” to enter the building whether you were invited or not. Thus your invitation is merely implied.
This is really simple stuff.
i know that the jdubs think that they are the center of the universe and in actuality, no one except ex-jdubs gives a rats ass about these religious crazies.
my question is i read that as a percentage of pedophiles per members, that the percentage is larger in the watchtower company than in the catholic church.
i would think that would catch someones attention in the media and make a good story.. what really pisses me off is the watchtower cult is gloating about all of the negative press the catholics are receiving concerning pedophiles not even knowing that the jdubs have thousands of sexual abuse cases that have been covered over.
I’m pretty sure that if you provide them facts that these “thousands of cases” aren’t some fictitious number, they will be more than happy to report on it.
No reason for them to ignore that in favor of a handful of protestors picketing a convention.

Lol
All invitations to private events are implied invitations and can be revoked for any reason. The reporter knows this. There is no right to enter.
This protest was just like any other protest — a venue for complaining. The day they become “effective” or “powerful” is the day WT will lose something significant a result of the protest.
This is not like a workplace strike or product boycott. The media got their sensationalist headline and will move on to the next hot story.
well today marks the beginning and biggest day of our protest at the london excel.. we believe it's a record number at around 100 exjws at the front door.. we spoke to lots of jw's and one young man studying who has quit after talking to us.
we've been approached privately by jw's who thanked us for coming and the security at the event treated us very well.. if anyone wants to see some clips they are available on my channel the great apostate.. thanks to all for the support and love..
These protests are really ineffective for several reasons:
They are not interfering with, or blocking jw operations. So you are not putting the GB in a position to where they have to acknowledge or negotiate with you. So essentially, standing on the sidewalk holding signs and yelling is nothing short of idle complaining. That’s why protestors are ignored by jws. Being able to ignore them neutralizes their cause. You can complain at home.
It has virtually no effect on the GB because they don’t stand to lose anything by you being there.
Secondly, there is absolutely nothing new or novel about protests. They don’t effect any practical change because all the media wants is a sensational story. Once that wears off, they move on. And since the ex-jws merely saturate the public, there is less interest since it’s no longer “news”.
Thirdly, these protests appear to be only about attention-whoring, grabbing cash, and carving out careers. Everyone’s starting gofundme campaigns asking for tens of thousands of dollars just to stand on a freaking sidewalk. Some I’ve seen are critically underfunded.
So unless jws lose something pretty significant as a result of these protests, they will never work. A handful of jws “thanking you” is hardly a blip on their radar.
today a dutch newspaper published an in-depth follow-up item on jw abuse issues.. the most interesting part of the article is this:.
the politicians also let themselves be heard.
a month ago the house of representatives voted unanimously in favor of a motion to enforce an independent inquiry into abuse within the jehovah's witnesses, as the organization refuses to initiate it.
Lol Anderson. You were attempting to quote WT literature against me, so I simply used it to refute your attempt.

Are non-ex jws reporting anything to RV? So who else are left?
Pay attention.
A straw man, is a misrepresentation of an argument, and a refutation of that misrepresentation.
You don’t know what the term means.

Obviously, I mean that just because people say something is true, doesn’t make it true.
Reminds me — how many people said the earth was the center of the universe? Nearly all contemporary scientists? They had “proof” too; the Sun moved and the earth did not appear to be moving.
Again, facts ARE NOT determined by popular vote, nor by interpreting evidence based on your relative position.

So as far as a “legitimate” request is concerned, it’s illegitimate to request an independent investigation based on the words of former members.
So the decline was justified. Now it’s on the government to prove their investigation is justified. I can imagine that this will come before a judge.
It should. I hope it will.
