Sir82,
Now you’re just complaining.
a user over on the jwtalk forum recently shared a warning over his research on evolution in preparation for an assigned talk.
after detailing a couple of the tidbits that he learned of during his research, he went on to say:.
this i found to be useful especially when talking ot others in the ministry.. but and it is a big but.....

Lol, so you admit she was there to bait them and not to actually attend the event.
So you basically validated their reason for revoking her invitation.
They had every reason to deny her entry.

Oh please. She was being sarcastic in an attempt to draw an imaginary contradiction between being invited and then being denied entry.
And I’m sure you fell for it..
As I said, invitations to private events are honored at the discretion of the sponsor of the event, and no reason for denying entry is necessary. But she was denied clearly because he was not there for the event. She was there to inquire of members their response to the accusations made by protestors.
Valid reason to deny them.
Thats how this stuff works.

Sir82,
Those points are not convincing:
- 75 percent of the earth is still covered in water.
-Jws don’t believe that snakes and donkeys have ever “talked”. They believe there was a supernatural force manipulating those animals. They also don’t believe Jonah survived purely by natural causes.
-If Jesus is real and in an invisible Heaven, he is invisible, thus, making an invisible return acceptable.
FWIW, I’m not arguing for or against any of those points. I’m just showing just how easily they can be addressed.

And it’s not black and white — it’s undeniable fact that anyone with more than one brain cell automatically knows. You cannot both maintain and destroy child abuse records at the same time.

Wait, what?
So to protect yourself against lawsuits, maintain a database of all the “incriminating” evidence. Also admit that you have it and that you store it at HQ.
Don’t destroy it.
Makes perfect sense, flip.

Do you guys ever listen to yourselves?
Ask yourself:
How can they destroy records on child abuse and maintain a child abuse database at the same time?

Ok, I should have used different wording for the uninitiated:
Rented convention venues are private property for the entire time WT rents them, because WT is a private organization.
Therefore, there is no “right” to enter the building whether you were invited or not. Thus your invitation is merely implied.
This is really simple stuff.
i know that the jdubs think that they are the center of the universe and in actuality, no one except ex-jdubs gives a rats ass about these religious crazies.
my question is i read that as a percentage of pedophiles per members, that the percentage is larger in the watchtower company than in the catholic church.
i would think that would catch someones attention in the media and make a good story.. what really pisses me off is the watchtower cult is gloating about all of the negative press the catholics are receiving concerning pedophiles not even knowing that the jdubs have thousands of sexual abuse cases that have been covered over.
I’m pretty sure that if you provide them facts that these “thousands of cases” aren’t some fictitious number, they will be more than happy to report on it.
No reason for them to ignore that in favor of a handful of protestors picketing a convention.

Lol
All invitations to private events are implied invitations and can be revoked for any reason. The reporter knows this. There is no right to enter.
This protest was just like any other protest — a venue for complaining. The day they become “effective” or “powerful” is the day WT will lose something significant a result of the protest.
This is not like a workplace strike or product boycott. The media got their sensationalist headline and will move on to the next hot story.
