These man was on a mission to try to get the two brothers to forgive his debt. He is not a good man and still lives with his ninety year old Mammy, she pays for his bills, and he has to live with her. This lazy sucker, won't even do the yard work or anything, just spend her money. The new elders have put a muzzle on his big mouth and he is having to pay a few bucks a month to his partners. We use to call him "Babby Huey." it just stuck to him, still living with Momma for reasons other than caring for her. She takes care of him and his wife, his mother use to complain to me, how lazy he was, and how he loved to spend her social security money.

Family Worship Night percentages
by JRK ini am curious how many families actually do this, and how many lie and say they do.
i would guess it is less than 50%.
i would say it is a good night for tv.. jk.

Family Study Night, less than thirty percent, the concept that a CO would remove them for not, is wrong or misleading.
Using the same reasoning, we can assume elders are Shepherding The Flock, calling the sick ones, the depressed ones, "NOT!"
We can assume the Field Cirus ministry is very productive and no time is spent malingering to Jehovah, because the CO would remove them or take back the Time Slips and reduce them, to their actual amount of time spent talking.
Missing Meetings does not get elders removed, we have elders who work in other states and don't get removed. I get angry at some of the bullshit people post here. Our own inductive experiences should tell us what is going on now, they are afraid to lose elders, nobody want's this no-pay position.
What do you think?

It goes to show you, they don't read the Watchtower or Awake which does warn against getting involved with these business ventures. If they read the magazines, they would not have lost all their retirement cash. The problem is that, not a few DOs and COs and Elders lost their arse on the great Ponzi Scheme in 1996. This brother promised 20 percent per year, a Glowing Bright Rrrreeed flag!!!!!!!!!!!! by any logical manner, anything above T-Bonds is risk, yet this brother said "No Risk, Just gain!" The Watchtower can't be blamed for this greed, they are warned and warned and yelled at to avoid this crap! They don't listen to Mother!

Why don't JWs do much in the way of charity work?
by ilikecheese inso i argue with the boyfriend a lot about the fact that i think charitable work is every bit as important as preaching when it comes to serving god.
every church i've ever gone to has some sort of community outreach, if not several outreaches, that have little or nothing to do with preaching.
and i made the point that if these people know you're affiliated with a church, they'll think a little more kindly about christians, too, which would help in the whole witnessing arena.

Recently I read a book on the charity works of the first five hundred years of the Christian Church. The reason it grew was love and charity, while the worshipers of the Roman and Greek could not grasp this love of fellowman. Tommorrow I can add some of the incredible reasons why the Christian church grew and why the pageans dumped their deities and converted to Christianity. When the Great plagues (250-400 CE) started to decimate the Roman empire, who stayed behind to nurse and feed those pageans left behind, those whose families ran off and left them starving? Was it pageans or was it Christians? Why did emperor Julian order his people to try to mimick christian charity? Answers tommorrow.

The "White Salamander Letter." that almost fooled the Mormon Church.
by AvocadoJake inthe mormon church went into a frenzy to purchase this brilliant letter, the letter turned out to be a forgery.
it does beg the question, if they were willing to buy this letter to cover it up, what else have they hiddened in their religion?
this topic is under the bible, the reason because the mormons told me today, "we follow the bible, gospel, as god's word.

This sweating slob, was always looking for a way out of his contract and promise he had made. He had the money to pay through time installments, Brother Rich could afforded to accept installment plans (and offered to!) until "The End." but Elder loud tried his best to be a Welcher. The funny part of this whole investment scheme, is brother loud, got to keep his elderhood without prejudice. Llamas, Alpacacas, Ponzi Schemes, Pay Day Loans, Emu, Ostrich, Dodo Farms yet no time to Sheperd The Flock!

Disturbing is one elder who is dialed into every Kingdom Hall, (Not foreign language halls.) knowing who is going to be disfellowshiped, reproved and knowing the confidential talk of the Three Little Bears of each Congregation. This brother would lie, if I was to call him on the information he divulged to me, and he would fall on this sword to the W.T.S. than confess to Jesus Christ. The ironic thing about this powerful (Bible and Christian belief challenged man.) elder, is there are elders in these and other Kingdom Halls, sharing data with each other. When he called three disfellowingshipings in a row, in three different Halls, I became disenfranchised with the Organization and knew, elders are not appointed by Holy Spirit. If a young one thinks he is confessing a sin to the listening ears of loving men, they need to realize this information will stay on their card for life. What you did as a 16 year old, will follow you into your fifties, under some notes in the Secretary's safe book. Balaam's Ass has hit the nail on the head, elders will downplay, cover and wheel and deal with their problem children. Quid Pro Qou..... Gomer Pyles put in charge of the Hall, Jehtro Bodine, Barney Five ect. The talent pool is drying up in the Organization, as many smart brothers are tiring of listening to half-cocked blowhards. The Kingdom Halls are becoming more like a dysfunctional social club for the Pharisees and Mentally Diseased Class with a touch of nervous spiritually conscious men and women, not knowing the way out.

Here is the letter from Wiki, written by Mark Hoffman who almost pulled off the greatest con on their Church. Next time you feel we belived some strange things, were not the only ones :). Things like "The elders are appointed by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the driving force with judicial decessions, don't question them or gossip about them. JWs spent 1.5 billion hours preaching ( probaly 400 million hours, and I am being generous with my reduction.)

Cheaper than a hotel bill for the preacher Benny Hinn, Las Vegas, Nevada. The hotel was $68,000 USD per night, what a scam that was! He had the top floor of one of the most expensive hotels. More of Hinn's cons.
http://www.christiannews.0catch.com/hinn.htm
"
William Lobdell, a Times staff, wrote about target-rich environment: the unregulated industry of televangelism is estimated to generate at least $1 billion through its roughly 2,000 electronic preachers, including 80 nationally syndicated television pastors. He told of the founder of the Dallas-based Trinity Foundation, Ole E Anthony, whose operatives struck dumpster pay dirt five years ago in south Florida when they found a travel itinerary for Benny Hinn, the Trinity Broadcasting Network's superstar faith healer who has filled sports arenas with ailing believers seeking miracles cures. Hinn's itinerary included first-class tickets on the Concorde from New York to London ($8,850 each) and reservations for presidential suites at pricey European hotels ($2,200 a night). A news story, including footage of Hinn and his associates boarding the jet, ran on CNN's "Impact." In addition, property records and videos supplied by Trinity investigators led to CNN and Dallas Morning News coverage of another Hinn controversy: fund-raising for a $30-million healing center in Dallas that has yet to be built.

Elder (Loud mouth, mega-opinion, coveting of wealth.) decided he wanted to be part of a group of brothers that were going to risk their money on a Dodo (real bird's name, changed for his privacy.) bird egg business. Brother Vociferous wanted his chance to finally spread his wings and show the brothers he was a real businessman. He would finally be free of his "hand me down." business that was based off of the brothers and sisters refering clients to him. Brother 'boisturious.' would no longer have to guilt the Kindom Hall friends, when they used a different service than his or cry "Oh how broke I am, I could have used the money!" Brother Loud had images of wealth, a corvette with soft top, gold chains around his neck, and pure euphoric bliss. This he would experience, once the one hundred DoDo birds starting laying eggs, money, money, money! The business projection was so rosy, they would pay off all loans by fiscal year 1 and these dodo birds would provide a golden nest egg for him!
100 DoDo birds Days laying (He reasoned in his head, one a day, two a day?) Price per egg: $15 to $30 depending on Market.
As all good things must come to an end, he entered the business as the DoDo egg market began to collapse and crushed their investment ($250,000.), with him holding to empty paper bag of broken egg shells. Brother loud mouth elder began to reason, "hey brother Jx and Dx are rich, they can afford to lose their money but I can't! I will bow graciously and tell them I will not pay!" and the war started. Brother Loud gave the example of "Why do brothers try to muzzle the bull, when it should be eating?" Why are you wanting me to pay you back? He did not pay and used the platform to talk about brothers and sisters who did not forgive debts, or should file BK so he did not have to. What would you do if you were brother rich? Would you make this brother who lives off his mother pay his debt?
