@konceptual99, I agree with you but knowing how extremely unreasonable
(c r a z y) they've become, I don't know what else they can do.
here is an idea i tested.
works at both assemblies and conventions.
i have noticed at the last convention and at my last assembly that when i opened up my wifi setting, tons of hotspots came up for people tethering their tablets to their smart phones.

1. in-group/out-group bias.
2. demanding unquestioning obedience to authority.
The word "cult" itself leads most deep believers to cover their ears and scram. I truly hope they notice just even 1 of the tricks or lies being used by the GB to control their lives.
And I just want to share that the God I knew and loved before I became a JW was more kind and loving than the God the GB has been portraying all these years.
i don't refer to anything sexually explicit of course.. i mean, in general.
do you dream of owning a big house, a football team, the perfect body.......er paradise earth?.

Sounds familiar???
today's watchtower:.
obey us, obey us even when it seems strange, obeying our man made hierarchy equates to obeying god, sacrifice your own interests, work for us, don't be independent, put your own interests aside, obey some more, preach for us, build for us, enjoy it, obey some more, forgive when we are jerks to you and mistreat you, accept your changed assignment even if it seems cruel and doesn't make sense, don't complain if we move you (eg.
) because you might have to move in the new world, remember you are being trained to obey, remember to put your own interests aside, that's the way we are designed to live - it will only make you happy!
how many of us were woken up by some apostate yelling false prophets at a convention?.
how many of us were woken up by someone holding a sign and yelling, what happened to 1975.
how many of us were coerced to investigate the wt because some ex-jw pulled up a bunch of old watchtowers magazines and told us to read the false predictions?.
I woke myself up. I had doubts especially about elders and those up there having higher authority... because power corrupts most human beings, right?
A little researching had me uncover articles related to cases of child abuse, UN, etc.. but most of all, I felt that something wasn't right.
Ultimately, it is the level of self-righteousness, hypocrisy, conditional love, absence of genuine care that helped me realize this is just like any other religion... but more emotionally damaging to members.
I thought that my curiousity, gut feel, and reasoning are also a gift from God. So why should I completely ignore it to follow WTS blindly?? I woke up and want to never fall asleep again.
more humblebragging seen via instagram and facebook lately from people coming home from pss.. using hashtags for the usual "feeling blessed", "what a great privilege", etc., while pictured in some nice tailored dresses that are quite ostentatious actually.. anyway, what do they teach at pss these days?
just curious..
