A watcher, interesting scripture you are using. Yet another mistranslation by the NW Translating Committee. One is not "disposed" to everlasting life, you are "appointed" or "ordained" to everlasting life. Why do they translate this scripture so? Because it clashes with JW doctrine (they don't believe in predestination). I view it as dishonest scholarship. All dictionaries in my possession translate it as "appoint." I encourage you to compare the NWT with other translations to get an accurate and unbiassed picture:
NWT Acts 13:48 When those of the nations heard this, they began to rejoice and to glorify the word of Jehovah, and all those who were rightly disposed for everlasting life became believers. (Act 13:48 NWT)
ASV Acts 13:48 And as the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of God: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. (Act 13:48 ASV)
ESV Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed. (Act 13:48 ESV)
NJB Acts 13:48 It made the gentiles very happy to hear this and they gave thanks to the Lord for his message; all who were destined for eternal life became believers. (Act 13:48 NJB)
