Why push the Climate Change agenda? First reason would be that climate alarmism is an attempt by the establishment to assist in restoring social control. In every attempt to push the climate change agenda is a call for people to unite.
Second reason has to do with money. According to Bank of America and one of their “Thematic Research” tomes, to achieve Net Zero carbon emissions by 2050, will have a hefty price tag. It will be costing the nations in the vicinity of $150 trillion over thirty years. This amounts to about $5 trillion in annual investments which is two times the current world GDP. Simply put, “it provides an endless stream of taxpayer and debt-funded "investments" which in turn need a just as constant degree of debt monetization by central banks.”
Third reason would be population control. If the nations do succeed in reaching Net Zero carbon emissions by 2050 many will have to be sacrificed on the altar of unsustainability. A Net Zero carbon environment will be unable to sustain 8000,000,000 people. Thus, war, pestilence, famine and vaccines, causing sterility and premature death, have to be introduced to cull the numbers to more manageable levels.

Joey jojo, see if you can work it out. Nasa' in Hebrew means "to deceive." Solar activity, and not carbon emissions, is responsible for temperature and weather fluctuations. Of all the gases in our atmosphere, carbon dioxide makes up 0.04% of the total. Of that number 97% comes from nature, plants and animals, and only a negligible 3% is caused by humans. One large volcano eruption produces more CO2 than the total of man's contribution. Makes me think of the Dutch government, trying to curb nitrogen use of their farmers. Complete madness.

There's climate change all right, but it has nothing to do with CO2 levels.

“This generation will by no means pass away.”
by Fisherman infor argument sake let’s assume that this verse should apply to 1914. what are your thoughts on generation?.

I prefer Christendom’s explanation: All predictions will happen within a generation (Matt. 24:34). Also the generation that sees and experiences the "great tribulation" of vv. 21, 22 will not pass away until all the predicted things have occurred. Most commentators give the length of the tribulation as seven years. Jesus then used the fig tree as a natural illustration and not as a typical one. In other words, just as a budding fig tree is a sign that summer is near, so the great tribulation itself is a sign of the end of the age (Matt. 24:32, 33).

Question #2 for JW's
by BoogerMan inhow could the "two witnesses" mentioned in revelation chapter 11 possibly be j.f.
rutherford and his companions who got jailed and then released in 1919?.
w14 11/15 p. 30 - so in the fulfillment of revelation chapter 11, the anointed brothers who took the lead at the time of the establishment of god’s kingdom in heaven in 1914 preached “in sackcloth” for three and a half years.. watchtower november 15, 2014, p. 30 - revelation 11:7 says that it is "the wild beast that ascends out of the abyss" which kills the 'two witnesses'.. since the wild beast of rev.

Yes Judgerusselford, I agree. They fit the passages of Revelation in to suit their interpretation. But the seven seals are first, followed by the seven trumpet blasts and then comes the seven bowels of plague. Towards the end of the plagues, the kings of the earth prepare for Armageddon. Then their cities are destroyed and lastly is the turn of Babylon the Great. They place the destruction of Babylon at the beginning of the tribulation.

Judgerussellford, according to Revelation chronology the transfiguration would be a future occurrence when Jesus comes in kingly power. The disciples thought they were Moses and Elijah but Jesus did not confirm their assumption. Because of not being named and being a part of the 144000, it is more realistic to believe that they would display the spirit of Moses and Elijah. Malachi prophesied that Elijah would come. Jesus named John the Baptist as being this Elijah. But he did not say that an Elijah figure would not come again.
Dropoffyourkeylee, that is similar to Seventh Day Adventist teaching. They view the two witnesses as representing the Law (Moses) and the Prophets (Elijah).

Scholar's interpretation, although interesting, can easily be disproved by referencing JW theology:
1) The two anointed prophets, members of the 144000, are to be sealed after the breaking of the sixth seal, a future event.
2) If the 42 months of the trampling are to run concurrently with the 1260 days of preaching, starting in October 1914, three and a half years from there would bring one to March 1918. Federal warrants for the arrest of Rutherford and company were issued May 7, 1918.
3) According to the general chronology of Daniel and Revelation the two prophets will be appearing towards the middle of the Tribulation, after the sixth trumpet blast.
4) Beast from the abyss was created in 1945, after the Second World War had ended. Coming out of the abyss means it has become active, also a future event.
