I so glad people are calling u. I toally understand what Elsewhere is talking about when he describes a typical day . I am not working now due to disability, and well it can get lonely. I have contact with my family and 1-2 friends, but that is about it now. I know a lot more people, but since i'm an inactive JW, well they don't drop around. So i decided-to get busy. I'm reading-i have joined an exercese class, and i may take a class. Before my mom died i always had her to care for. But if u can't change with your situation-then u will go crazy..Being able to adapt is the key..Once u get a job it will help a lot.
I have to say, there are so many nice people here who are willing to help someone.
And when u are able-think about seeing a therapist to help u with self esteem issues. Good luck

wake up, say "oh geez, better get cracking" and do some gibberish work.
oh yes i remember them well! I used to go through and answer whatever i could and then spend the rest of the time just looking up the scriptures so people would think i was busy. Then when they gave the answers i would just write them in and give myself 100%. Other times , i would just write stuff in-guesses- and pretned i was writing. I have seen people just sit there and stare, and i have seen people sleep. hardly anyone like the written review. If u have small children-always an easy out.

my husband and i have just had a big fight about, of all things, halloween.

in law is bringing our cute little grandbabies over to show us their costumes, plus she is taking them to business's to trick or treat.

ty for a lovely post. We talked and he said he was just so confused. I assured him i always love him no matter what. We even got to talking and i told him how when i was a kid, my parents were inactive and they allowed me and my bro to go out trick or treating. Also, we always went to my aunts house at thanksgiving-cheap way to celebrate thanksgiving. And if the truth was known to a lot of people, my husband and i have slways secretly celebrated new years/eve and july 4. What we did not do was ever put up decorations or tell anyowne , so think we even deluded ourselfs that we were not celebrating.
What a strange way to live-half in half out. We can sorto of celebrate some holidays, but make a stink about BD and holloween and xamas. and oh my mothers day-fathers day-evil days. .
