it happened to me before i was ever baptized, and continued on after i was baptized.

it ended when i confronted him and took it to the elders.

i didn't get anywhere with that so, i moved to a different congregation.

I've heard elders counsel young men to be careful about this. There is generally more women than men in the org. and sisters wanting to marry , he said may take just being friendly the wrong way.. then agian there are the jerks out there. I know an middle age sis that was so infactuated with a bro. he really was just being kind and friendly-but she was divorced and eager to remarry. He found someone, and she felt terribly hurt that somehow she had been led on. All agreed , she had not-the sis just had a case of wishful thinking.

i've been looking after a young man, raised as a jw, who is being involuntarily treated after being found sacrificing animals to jehovah to hasten "the end" and kill all of the worldly people.

he had tied up a dog and machetyed it, though it wasn't dead by the time the police were called about the noise.. good work watchtower - we really need ya.. paduan .

As much as i dislkie the jw's -they never do things like that. This young man has become psychotic and delusinal and i hope he is in a hospital where he can't hurt any one or thing. Repeat-JW don't do animal scarafice. Was in all my life and still occ go-am 47. When jw become psychotic however, they at times tend to read stuff in the bible and take it seriously and that is what this young man may be doing. Because the jewish nation did animmla scariice -welll he may be getting all mentally confused.

Get him some help..

Any violence against the WT?

if everyone hates them so bad when they leave, do you know if they ever attempted to exact a temporal revenge for spiritual hurts?.

This was told to me by a pioneer sis during the great apostate wars in the 80'. she told about a KH bing bombed,and the speaker and all those on the front rows were either killed or hurt badly. where i can't rembember now. Actually in the ealy 90's(can't remember the exact year) The FT. Worth TX convention site had received a bomb threat. I got this form a very reliable source-it was not gossip.

I know personally i have felt like going to the hall and causing a disturbance. LOl actually back in 63 i believe, there was an apostate i guess at the waco assembly. He started yelliing during the talk and the WT police quickly subdued him and THREW him out he door. Everyone was all a buzz about the APOSTATE..I know i would never have the nerve-but just once i would have liked to have replied to one of there retorical questions. from my seat. probably would not have been the answer they were wanting.).

yes, i too am surprised that there is not more violence. I have heard jof unbelieving husbands causing problems in the parking lot-but thiese are all of the urban legnd type stuff.

Caught Red Handed at a Funeral Home

while making a run to the local drug store last night, i noticed before getting out of my truck, an active jw (who rides his bicycle everywhere) coasting in front of me, parking his bike, and disapeared into the store.

i see him all the time and i know he sees me, but not sure if he's ignoring me, or just plain cant see.

maybe thats why he dont drive a car.

As sandigger said, unless u plan on living quietly and never attending another church, or violating many of the many JW rules, u really can't just leave. If you want to celebrate the holidays, post here under your real name, and just any nuber of things-u could be surprised one day when u are caught by a loyal jw . They would say it was jehovah who guided them /to allow all to knwo your true heart condition.

now i too am doing the slow fade. But i live in libo-or pergurtory as i like to call it.

Two witness rule IS A MAJOR PROBLEM

it may not be the main problem or the only problem and i do agree that this needs to be treated as a criminal issue, but let me give you a very good example of why it is important for a problem like this to also be taken care of congergationally.. my father in law dan fitzwater sr has now been taken care of criminally.

( no thanks to the wts) he is in prison for child molestation.

he has been abusing children for a very long time, but he is only serving a short time in prison.

Bruce, well it's not an apologiy for the WTS, but it helps to know that some of the elder body are beginning to realize what molestation and rape do to a persons mind. Dear,.God, i can feel the pain of that young sister who drove herself in front of a truck. Being a SL myself, i can tell u there are many more stories out there in the naked city. If it happened to me-it happened to someone else.

TY for your post. It gives me some comfort to hear eldres speak up this way..

Well if she pulled on his testicles long enough , it would probably act as a tourniquet and cutting off the blood, could possibly cause death.Better yet, if shed carrried a knife with her , she could have cut off both thte penis and balls, and he'd have bleed to death.

maybe if you could do away with ignoring your own family because they made a mistake and did something foolish in their life that already regret terribily?

Even if the Org. changed its harsh stance on DF/DA, it still would not solve the problems. Every REAL JW knows that when something is a conscience matter, or in a grey area, NO lREAL JW would do it, b/c they would be marked by the REAL JW's. If they make shunning a conscience matter-every REAL JW will know that MOTHER still wants them to do it, but b/c the bad world of satan is persecuting the WTS, they have to say it is a conscience matter. An elder told me that a long time ago-get used to the hidden message - mother wants u to this, but some bad people are making it hard on mother, so we must play their game. Any REAL JW knows this.
