  My hubby has been somewhat tolerant of me on this site-but he came unglued at your site.I just want to say again-never have i so clearly saw the propoganda in those pics as when i looked at your site. And to think i have been looking at this all these years and never thougt about it as ant-american. U really have a way with words. I really called him on being so anti-american and how we are not suposed to have any politaical bias but he said the usa was guilty of many crimes . he also said he had seen scences of other destruction in WT that were not in usa. true/false?

  I just looked at tom's site, and having ben a jw all these years am appaled to see that the wt does show scences of death and destruction of people, and Why do they hone in on USA? why are the pics of our government being destroyed-are we more corrupt then anyone else?

  this made my jw husband fighing mad-he is very anti american. if God's destroyed the world of ungodly men-why pick on USA?

  Tom if u read this and have any response to questions i'd appreciate it. My husband nealy hit the celing.

  My poor JW mom and her dead friend

  i just got a phone call from my wailing mom that her best friend, and someone i grew up with, has died.. i really disliked this woman.

  her son told on me for saluting the flag in high school.

  that's how my mom and her became friends.

  Hi, i just wanted to say-your mon and Dad must have done something right-u sound like a very nice person , to feel for your mom like this. your mom is not old-she still has a lot of time left and who knows , i have been jw all my life and am just now seeing the light. Maybe u can be available for your mom, and give her your shoulder. She won't forget it-i assure u. even whn i was strong jw, i never shunned my kids-they are just plain wrong on that point. More than a few jw feel that way. hope your mom is ok and will come around.

  Time to tighten up our communications?

  given the recent faked emails 'from' silentlambs and other emails that have been faked to come from me and others, perhaps it's time to tighten up our communications.. i suggest that anyone giving out official information sign their emails with a secure certificate that can verify that it is authentic.. either that, or post all announcements that are sent by email on a website as well which can be checked to see if an email is for real.. any thoughts ?

  this has been very upsetting. My heart sank thinking something had actually happend to Bill. I think the signing of the e-mail is good-but don't know how that is done. I did not receive one of the e-mails even though i am on silentlambs mialing list. I beleive it may be b/c i have my e-mail hidden.

  I am related to John Wesley hardin, a famous outlaw that per the story, was so mean he shot a man for snoring. I met and had pic taken with Meat loaf, "Bat Out Of hell" "paradise by the dashboard lijght" "I'd do anything for love, But i won't do that"(grammy 93). I once saw Billy Crystall in a Dunkin donuts , Michael jackson once attended a book study of some people i knew, I met Tom T Hall(country singer 70's ) and got his autograph.My dad used to take me to wrestling matches when i was a kid-i met cowboy bob ellis and bull curry. I saw the guy do "The Iron claw" once-it was so brutal. I have seen david allan coe and jerry jeff walker in concert. I can sing janis joplin's "mercedes benz " fairly well. I took on blue cross and won. I'll keep thinking...

  An Experience with the Service Desk

  in my country there are one office in the branch who's named service desk.

  this service desk is in charge of all the judicial affairs.

  this experience happened almost 2 years ago, and is related with child abuse.

  o i agree nothing wrong with discussion. If u look at top you'll see 'search' just type in silent lambs or bill bowen and you'll get a multitude of posts with all sorts of opinions.Opinions are many and varied. I am female and am a silent lamb. I had no problem with your discussion, or even referring to a post u received form bill, but still i always hope if i send something to someone it will not be reposted on discussion board. However, bill said nothing in the post that he hasn't said publically, and many times.

  Bill has an agenda, and that is to try and change policy in WTS about 2 witness rule , and to force elders to abide by law and report abuse to authories. Also, he is trying to expose the practice Jw have of protecting the abuser and and silencing the abused.I am so grateful he is doing this.Many times the abused jends up DF and the abuser -NOTHING.

  Certainly u have a right to your opinion. Many here also do not agree with Bill. He has a web site and u can register and post there too..I would post u a link, but i am not that computer savy , so maybe someone else will do it. Sorry.

  Again , the laws do vary from state to state here in usa, but generally, it is against the law for anyone to have sex with someone under 18, with or without their consent. But these are not the usual cases Bill talks about. generally it involves molestation of a small child , with no witnesses .

  I only speak for myself here bill certainly does not need me to speak for him so i would e-mail him and tell him your concerns. . 'welcome to the board.

  i've just joined up to silentlambs.

  basically i still consider myself a jw, although i'm no longer active.

  i do frequent the odd sunday meeting tho, as i still consider 95% of it to be the truth.

  I really have enjoyed this thread, b/c i came here in september feeling very much as u do. I was really mostly upset with the lack of love and what seemed to me worship of an org. instead of God. I too am disturbed about the changing "generation" belief. I too am a silent lamb. I don't know what is right or wrong at this point-but i'm going to hang arund here and listen-b/c who could u discuss this with? Certainly not any JW.The WTS will tolerate no discussion of their polices or beliefs from the members. I have been a witness all my life, but i have been inactive since 96. No one has even cared enough to check on my family. For years before i became inactive i stopped going in FS b/c i refused to bring another person into an org. that would hurt people like they do. I just could not be responsible for that. It is true that jehovahs used an org in ancient times and perhaps He is using this one now, but for sure He'll have some big housecleaning to do.

  the headers aren't even correct for the silent lamb mailing list newsletter that bill sends out. I checked an old one and its nothing like the one posted above.

  What a creepy joke.
