Disturbing trend in WT magazines...
by TheApostleAK inthis may be obvious to some but has anybody noticed the lack of doctrinal based watchtower study articles in wts for the last 2 years?.
lately we've been just getting either "pep talk" articles or articles that are only based on subjects.. the only new light lately is mainly the daniel and isaiah books.
and any new light in wt's is mainly just clarification (usually in the q's from readers page).. from ak

Question re tower logo at Bethel (NYers??)
by comment ina friend of mine in new york just told me that the big tower logo on the side of bethel is no longer there.
instead, there's a giant neon sign saying "watchtower" and a digital clock.. how long has this been the case?
does anybody know why they got rid of the tower logo?.

They should just become a nonprofit secular org.
to help... whateverTheir main function is not to help people spiritually, but a social club with a whole bunch of rules.
You dont have to care about people to go the ladder in the WT.
Just give the IMPRESSION that you follow their rules, period.
Really you dont have to actually comply.

most likely the were untentionally deluded "victim of victim",
most likely they found out later-on and did nothing about it.
All of them died right after a big fiasco, wrong dates.

by JBean ini'm just curious...if you had the opportunity, who on this board would you like to meet if given the chance (or could without getting "in trouble"!)?
(could be serious, could be fun...) i for one, am just sooo curious to meet the cat himself... just to find out if he's much different in person than in his online persona!

Forgot one thing you cannot find out by reading her/his posts,

NGO: German BOE-Letter
by GermanXJW inas already stated here, participant on german board http://www.infolink-forum.de collected snailmail adresses of elders and kingdom halls and informed them about the watchtower's uno relationship.
this happened just before the kms.
now the wts has written a letter to all bodies of elders in germany:.

"...collected snailmail adresses of Elders and Kingdom Halls and informed them about the Watchtower's UNO relationship."
REACHING THE UNINFORMED, hitting the foundations.
I bet more than half of the jw dont know about the CoC book.
Those with specific "mission" against the WT have a job to do.

The publisher card tell your age.
JW should know that as people age they develop firm convictions, in this case they may be out of line with WT new light, old peple dont like changes, GB are an execption by neccesity. (anyone can go decrepit prematuraly if associated with the WT)
