  Does Today’s Comedy Offend You?

  there was a time we could laugh about mindless silly things.

  someone using an ethnic accent, making fun of their own race, making fun of someone’s intelligent, etc.

  we could laugh without feeling constantly offended , upset or disturbed.

  and here in Oz we have few nationally known comedians. And some especially female cant open their mouth without using profanity.

  The convener Jennie Brockie missed a gold opportunity to ask the jw there the one in pink just why she insists on shunning her sister.

  Their father said a few times his family was broken but he didnt have the ability (quote: the psychology") to make it well again. and why? was this because all the years of wt 'culture' meant he had no mental or learned ability in interpersonal skills? That he was as we all have been dissuaded from going to a counsellor?.

  This family said several times they cant get together as the fight much of the time. The nature of those fights like what about would have been in context and revealing.

  also, the one attending the kh said and this was not taken up, that she always got (gossip) told by other sisters of the the doings of her mother.
  

  But these insights aside it was a clear expose of the family wrecking the wt indulges in.

  Much credit must be given to the people involved who stepped into the spotlight with their 'demons'.

  oh and best I recall the dfd started because one lady was "pecking" (kissing.?) an elders son. That is it.

  even though law enforcement has their hands full with illegal drugs and guns on the street, child traffickers, dangerous gangs and such.

  they are going to now pool all their resources to confiscate bibles and religious literature?!

  I believe that such speech from the wt is just saying how important they are.

  Persecution? It would not be beyond the wt to start an antisocial program of some sort to invoke the wrath of governments in one country or more in order to bring action against jw.

  Wt had the funds and ability to repatriate the jw out of Nazi occupied lands to the US prior to the US entering the world war but it did not. The wt wanted martyrs.

  I am on my third reading of the AV of the bible and do not recall the 'eyeball' quote. Perhaps it is in the wt bible only.yes/no?

  jws think their organization is the most honest and righteous christian based faith in the world solemnly chosen by god because of that.

  i thought it would interesting to evaluate the many persistent lies the jws propagate from the top leaders down.

  first up the many lies and biblicaly unsupported doctrines made by the wts own leaders such as pin pointing the exact year and time of christ's return and establishing his throne in heaven, once in 1874 then 1914. .

  i have been reading the publications of the wts since i was 6, 60 years now.

  we were too poor to have more than one subscription for each magazine so i had to wait until my mother had read it (she let them pile up).

  yes this am to discuss a coming procedure.. i told him i want nothing to do with the wt out of the twistings and bullshit they put up at the carc.. 'were they (wt) involved in that?

  CARC/ Australian Royal Commission into Institutional Reaction to Child Abuse. It was initially referred to as ARC or Australian Royal Commission but there were other commissions of inquiry going on so it was referred to as the C as Child to separate it.

  The executive were the wt officials who were called to appear before the commission to explain the wt manner of dealing with Child abuse within the Jehovahs witness organisation .
