  I believe its the number of JW kids in Victoria.

  Stephen what must be made very clear is,

  the WT tactics / manner of dealing with child abuse, the language they use on distressed parents or those reporting.Needs to be submitted so they can not confuse the commission.

  The wt culture of language needs to be outlined.

  1. parent goes to elders to report their child has been /is being abused.

  2. what will the elders do...

  3. the 'hearing' of putting a little child in a room at the KH with the offender and the elders and to ask that child "what did the man do to you"

  4. at collapse of the matter due to there not being "two witnesses" to the abuse.

  5.parent /child told "leave the matter in Jehovahs hands"

  6 what is done about the offender..

  and in all this saga no one has mentioned when the victim has become pregnant .. . . . . . . this not assuming that all victims are female.

  Outline the structure, what is the Governing Body in the many publications of the WTS

  outline who is the faithful and discreet slave.

  outline that these are a controlling body. and their effect on JW.

  That the wts DOES have members. Despite the WTS statements to the contrary.

  Outline that in the recent Victorian case the WTS lawyers stood before the court and said that the GB, FDS 'dont exist they are a 'convenient theological arrangement'. and detail the response from a gallery full of witnesses to that (Gasps of disbelief).

  Friends all over the world unless the verbal trickery is fully exposed then in this matter runs the severe risk of giving the wts further fuel to cry'Martydom' 'they are picking on us' and the high ideals of this commission will be lost and no real changes will be made and the victims will be lost.

  I ask everyone in any country struck by abuse to contact the Royal Commission with your story with what was said what was done what the results are.

  I recall seeing some photos taken by a US airforce plane at the end of WW2 of the Mt Ararat region of Turkey.. guesswhat? the structure of Noah's ark is plain to see. It is damaged by time and landslides but plain to see.

  and yes I thought the recording of the behaviour of that man Judah and another who raped a girl Tamar with no justice done were puzzling.How many thousand times in history have such crimes happenend that this example was need recorded.?

  Perhaps there is a lesson on arrogance that self ordained prophets should not stand up and declare so dogmatically that in 1873 or (pick whatever date you wish) this will happen.........

  another lesson on humility that when their prophesying fails are unable to say oops we got it wrong and go on to live a life of simple faith, helping the poor, feeding the poor, and honouring work and the value of sound education.. and learn that inspiration can be a tricky master so when you next feel such a datelooks like a point in time to reserve your thoughts and leave such things in Gods hands.

  Nor set yourself up in a monastery by any other name with other feeding and keeping you while you look out with disdain at the world with all its struggles.

  or along the way declare rules of dress that failure to abide by makes you unworthy (Not wearing a coat when doing talks, handling a microphone)

  Steven, dropm the idea of getting the victorian charges brought up. The govt has backed off and the whole issue has moved on from there certainly make mention of it in your submission to the royal commission.

  jehovah's witness construction worker's, are the first to sign up for "unemployment benefits", "welfare and food stamps", things caesar's provides for his people, once economic slack hits.

  some times they try to sign up for benefits that don't exist, because they "worked under the table" the during the "great building boom!"..

  i know jehovah's witnesses who cheated on their taxes, or avoided paying them at all.

  In Australia i knew of jw who claimed a 'low interest loan' from a govt agency to build a new home. They claimed they had a low income. Yes they did by choice so they could pioneer!

  This meant a loan by deception and someone else on a very low income missed out on a loan.!

  that's the bottom line to watchtower theology and the watchtower has admitted as much.

  unfortunately, the average jw is clueless as to his actual position before jehovah.. the below is written for active jw's.

  if people understand all this, and they want to remain jw's that's fine with me.

  some of you 'apostates' really do fantasize about the demise of the organisation.

  the watchtower isn't going to shut down or quietly disappear any time in the next 50 years plus, any more than the mormons will, or the 7th day adventists or christadelphians will.

  each religion has their own unique market share based on their unique brand and religious product that appeals to their consumer market segment.

  Whatever they believe its the journey they are on.

  They live for immediacy the now with peeping out to see the future(all the what ifs) but ignoring the past ( all the date changes) The wt is half the size it used to be and gives no credence to anyone elses thoughts.

  It denies scholarship and has misquoted scholars and has continued to do so even when asked by said scholar to stop. then finally been taken to court over this misuse.. will the wts admit to this.. never! they are not possesed by a single thread of corportate humility.

  But dont agonise your guts over this it is the journey they are on help each other be kind do random acts of kindness.

  Personally? I wish my wife had given me a point % of the time in sex that she has put into the biddings of the WTS.

  Talked to an elder today

  i guess the stars aligned for this one.

  this morning i dropped my car off to get it fixed and the shop i always go to is a lot closer to my mom's house than mine so i asked her if i could stay at her house while it got fixed.

  she was out in service doing returns at the time and offered to ride me to her house.

  I dont care about dates particularly as the calendar changed in the middle ages by the decree of a king (French i think) and as i always say petrol tomorrow is still $1.66 a litre, ( x 4.55 for you americans per gallon) I am of simpler mould.. like the little matter of protecting paedophiles and perhaps the matter of downing education in general......

  What support would your elder have given me when told that my children had been sexually abused by a 'perfect by performance' brother?
