please discuss why you don't believe in god and that which could convince you to believe in god ??

The Bible is the only thing left to prove that God exist but unfortunately the Bible was translated in different languages. We are really not sure if it was translated exactly what is written in the original. XDD
Even if there's no solid proof, even if scientist don't have evidence to proved God existence-- I believe in Him!
What makes me believe in Him-- He always answered my prayers XD as fast as my mom answered the phone when its midnight and i'm still with my friend's home. XDD
i'm so curious, why they're not celebrating their birthdays?
is it just because jesus don't celebrate it and it's not written in the bible that they celebrated the birthday of jesus?
or is it written in the bible not to celebrate birthday?

please understand, i'm in the process of understanding both sides. I'm not in favor with JW's or to you guys. I just want to learn,know some truth. yesH! i'm convinced with you guys you're telling all the truth i'm bow to that!
but still, i want to listen to them too .. were still having Bible study every week and I"M NOT YET A JW's

i have always questioned the witness belief that birthdays are not to be celebrated.
another reason is that various customs that tend to accompany birthday celebrations have pagan origins.

I'm speechless-- (tsk tsk) xC if that is true since you guys already had an experienced with JWs. (teary eyes*) ;C i'm worried to my friend. she was baptized last year 2010 and she's a roman catholic before-- she decided to be a JW's coz' she realize that Jehovah is true..
I'm always asking her why are there so many people criticizing your religion (back before I join here) not just on the internet but all the people i've known, they'll always remind me that their Bible is manipulated. Coz' of my curiousity since I dont want to offend my friend.. I dunno what to say, how can I tell my friend about this facts? I can't dare myself to tell her all this info I get from this forum.

ops sorry, what i mean-- my mom is against doing bible study with JW's because we are pure catholic. She's very faithful with our religion, she want to me join YFC (Youth For Christ) instead of studying the bible with them.
She even told me that if ever you'll be a JW's don't you ever ask me to throw my Statue Of Virgin Mary in the garden ! XD
My mom is the nicest person in the world even if she's not a JW's =)

@outsmartthesystem -thank you so much! XD I will surely discussed this to them this coming saturday. At least I already know the reason why their not celebrating birthday.
BUt, let say 'OK' their not celebrating birtday but why their not also allowed to celebrate other's birthday or i mean, eat birthday cakes? XDD Why do they avoid to join celebrating other's birthday example one of their family? I think they should respect other's belief too, since their very kind and understanding.
I'm sharing all my doubts here because I don't want to offend them, coz' I respect their belief..
Even if I heard all negative things from them, I still want to listen from them and understand!
My main goal in joining JW's bible study is to be KIND XD especially to my mom! Knowing the Bible is the thing I haven't tried.
JW's is an answered prayer for me =)
