  The Bible: The Beginning, Middle and End

  for the past year or so i have been trying to understand the bible as the complete work it is said to be.

  instead of scouring its pages, which i have seen many drift off into madness doing, i have tried to take steps back and examine the whole.

  my jehovahs witness background gives me a good understanding of the biblical narrative in general, even though i have rejected their doctrines.

  why JWs doesn't celebrate birthday?

  i'm so curious, why they're not celebrating their birthdays?

  is it just because jesus don't celebrate it and it's not written in the bible that they celebrated the birthday of jesus?

  or is it written in the bible not to celebrate birthday?

  Were just done studying the bible-- my friend was not there xC busy at school--

  Anyways, I don't get a chance to start a topic about jwfacts I think they notice my silence, I just nodded (with a frown face) everytime they ask me, 'vien did you get what we mean?'

  I feel so guilt, we use to have happy mode in studying the bible.

  when they ready to leave, i drop a line 'Ate, (sis) why are their so many..' ( she knows what I mean) -she stop and look at me saying 'vien, it is also written in the bible that one true religion will be hated by all.. (with a smiling face)

  Errrrrr >_< i'm confused again!!

  is really written in the bible? that their is one true religion (JW's) will be hated by all?

  I'll seek more information about JW's - they can't convert me that easy! I'm sure of that.. I just don't want to chase them away..

  Knowing the facts about JW's make me feel bad about them they are so dedicated to their religion especially to my friend!

  Can you gimme some question's that JW's can't answer and can't find it in the Bible? So I have an excuse to open some topic about JW's facts. XD

  The Bible is the only thing left to prove that God exist but unfortunately the Bible was translated in different languages. We are really not sure if it was translated exactly what is written in the original. XDD

  Even if there's no solid proof, even if scientist don't have evidence to proved God existence-- I believe in Him!

  What makes me believe in Him-- He always answered my prayers XD as fast as my mom answered the phone when its midnight and i'm still with my friend's home. XDD

  please understand, i'm in the process of understanding both sides. I'm not in favor with JW's or to you guys. I just want to learn,know some truth. yesH! i'm convinced with you guys you're telling all the truth i'm bow to that!

  but still, i want to listen to them too .. were still having Bible study every week and I"M NOT YET A JW's

  (sorry i'm not good in english, can't say what I really feel but im trying my best)

  @outsmartthesystem -- 'This is the problem with all new converts. They come to accept this teaching without having it PROVEN to them. If it progresses to this point....tell us. We will give you thought provoking questions to ask that they cannot answer.'

  I'm speechless-- (tsk tsk) xC if that is true since you guys already had an experienced with JWs. (teary eyes*) ;C i'm worried to my friend. she was baptized last year 2010 and she's a roman catholic before-- she decided to be a JW's coz' she realize that Jehovah is true..

  I'm always asking her why are there so many people criticizing your religion (back before I join here) not just on the internet but all the people i've known, they'll always remind me that their Bible is manipulated. Coz' of my curiousity since I dont want to offend my friend.. That's why I searched it on google 'Does the name Jehovah actually exist in the Bible?' then I found this forum with the topic "Does the name Jehovah actually exist in the original Hebrew language?" --

  Honestly I joined here coz I want to convince myself to believe Jehovah's words, for I thought that this site was made by faithful JW's XD

  I dunno what to say, how can I tell my friend about this facts? I can't dare myself to tell her all this info I get from this forum.

  Please guide me, I don't want to chase them away just because of this. I don't understand myself why I still like to listen to them!
