It's all about supply and demand. Sisters outnumber the brothers. It's about keeping the sisters in a small pond and elevating the spiritual qualifications of prospective brothers. Sisters are told to look for strong spiritual men as their husband heads. Sisters are dangling "carrots" and motivate the brothers to reach out for MS and Elder privileges. Brothers can then have the pick of the pack if their show themselves to be spiritual men. I know too many spouses that appeared spiritual to score a young, attractive bride or groom. Once the deed was done, they morphed into a controlling and abusive spouse.

Why Marrying An Outsider Is NOT A Disfellowshipping "Offense"
by Divergent inso yeah, i was thinking about this.
marrying an unbeliever is considered to be wrong, but at the same time, it is not a disfellowshipping "offense".
well, the reason is simple: there is more to gain than to lose by not disfellowshipping.

It might prevent elders or ministerial servants over arguing which "self employed window cleaning servant" is the best and should clean the windows?

This is "click bait." Just a couple of people talking about some event that may or may not have occurred. I rather see a credible, local news story posted. Otherwise, this is all hearsay. Any wrongful death is whored out by the media....especially if JWs are involved. "If it bleeds, it leads." Nothing on the Google search engine????? I'm skeptical. -

Typically, the supervisors wear white hardhats. The illustration depicts an actual KH project. There are 3 supervising elders telling one poor schmuck what to do. Each elder tells him to do something different. When he follows the direction of one elder, the other two have him disfellowshipped for not following the direction of Jehovah's appointed servants.

JW Stand On Concealed Carry
by Cold Steel inif a jw wanted to get a concealed carry permit, would the society have any moral or ethical problems with it?
in other words, if one of your elders noticed you were carrying concealed, would they be apt to just ignore it or would they counsel you on it?

I have knew of a police officer that was studying and pressure was being applied to change his profession. The thought was that carrying a weapon is a license to take a life if need be. "A Christian would not want to put himself in a situation that might cause him to have to kill someone." He left his study and never looked back. I also knew a baptized, paramedic that was told that he should find another career. His occupation might cause him to be called to administer a blood transfusion which is forbidden by God's law. "Why would one want to have a part in breaking God's law?" Maybe to save someones life that does not have the same beliefs as a JW?

It's bad enough that I handicapped myself in my life by being a pawn in the borg. I regret ever having a role in indoctrinating my 2 kids in this abusive cult. Even though they currently don't see it, I have crippled them in the ability to have a normal, free, non-judgmental life by not serving this controlling, manipulative, abusive cult. I envy those that were "weak" in the truth and let their kids grown up in a normal environment, get an education, and be self sufficient, well adjusted, critical thinkers instead of parroting the bull**** that emanates and radiates as "new" light from the malevolent despots in their east coast ivory tower. I wish I had a time machine and could go back and stop the minions that called on my mother who bought into this degenerate, religious ecosystem...better yet, for the world, stop Russell or Rutherford for duping millions of people for over a century.

I started studying about 32 years ago in about 1984. At that time, the organization seemed to be more palatable for those looking for something. However, 32 years later, the organization is not even close to what it once was. The deception and rampant emotional, mental, and psychological abuse is disturbing....not to mention the prevalent sexual abuse in all corners of the earth. I don't see why anyone with modern day internet access would be interested in the borg unless they are pedophiles. I started fading about 4 years ago. The "Tight Pants Tony Pontification" was the last straw and things have only gotten worse.

Do JWs believe they will be the only people saved at the "end"?
by LaurenM inthe answer posted on jw.org: "no.
many millions who lived in centuries past and who weren’t jehovah’s witnesses will have an opportunity for salvation.
additionally, many now living may yet begin to serve god, and they too will gain salvation.

good catch BB. they truly didn't answer the question but skirted the real issue. This is standard operating procedure when answering pseudo "questions from readers" or sugarcoating their dogma until you are in too deep to get out with some dignity.

The organization taught that the number would be decreasing as the system drew to a close and the 144,000 were chosen and filled. For decades, the number of partakers was decreasing. However in recent years, the number of the partakers has substantially increased. The number is published each and every year and the organization has no explanation for the increase. Just before the memorial, a talk is given about the anointed, who should be partaking, and the seriousness of the error of partaking for those that are not truly anointed. This is to stem the increasing tide of those that claim this class. Many believe that the org will stop releasing the yearly count of those that claim to be of the heavenly class. That way, the rank and file will not know the true numbers and the org will avoid inventing an explanation... like the overlapping generation fiasco.
