  I first came on board December 1st 2001 it was Celtic's 35th birthday.

  Those were the days, when we had some great posters, I am not saying we haven't got great poster now it is just that I miss the others who were so popular and have now gone.

  Fred Hall was a beast of course

  Celtic, Alan F, Valis the overbeer and fellow smurf beleiver, Beans, Bikerchick, arrowstar, pierced angel, KLS, Big Floppy Dog, Nabalis, Logical, Peter Stride, and Zev,Glenis oh hell there were so many of them and i miss them all.

  I know many needed the support and afterwards felt they could get on with their lives, And others just stopped posting.

  There have been times where I have had to stop due to illness and hospitalizations, but as soon as I am well I am right back here as I want to know the latest of every thing going on in the glass Tower. It is like my home away from home.

  on may 19th, theodore jaracz had a stroke.

  he's in very serious condition in the hospital.. that's all the information i have for now.. barb.

  i wasn't going reply to this thread but I have changed my mind. It is truly disgusting the things that the members of the G B have done in the name of God and Christ Jesus.

  They have must to answer before the throne of God, but then so do all of us.

  We are outraged by many members of the GB, but are we any better by our anger and hatred? Yes he has done evil deeds and covered up things as welll as other members of the GB.

  I know many of you have had horrific things happen to you and the WTBS has done nothing about it but cover it up. Had it not been for Barb and her husband and those other few faithful who blew the whistle on them we wouldn't have known any of this and we are thankful for what Barb has done. I want to thank you for the tons of hours you have spent in bringing the truth forward and enlightening the world to the deciptive lies of the WTS Organization. You are so couragous all of you who chose to stand up for righteousness. May God bless you for that.

  I know that many are hurting and in pain becaue of lies and deciet the pedophilia and the threats made to families to keep their mouths shut, and we know that each individual must stand in front of God's throne of judgement.

  So on that day all will be justified. But at the same time let us not forget that like them we too will stand in front of the throne of God and we must too answer for our sins as well.

  Really what it is I am saying is let God do the judging and know that it will be just. Because we don't want to be judged by the Lord in the same manner.

  You may remember the scripture in Matthew 7:1-2

  Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
  Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

  I hope that we don't stoop to their level of judgement. Or their level of deciet, or lies, or acts of defilement for fear that God may judge us.

  I hope that I haven't offended anyone in expressing my feelings on this matter. That would be the last thing I would want to do.

  now my dad is trying to tell me going to watch the fireworks is celebrating it - the same as celebrating christmas... i told him that i don't care i'm going anyways and i'm taking hubby and daughter with me... he said in a not to happy tone, "ok".... i mean, what is he gonna do?

  cause then he will get in trouble also and probably loose his elder status... .

  I have always enjoyed fire works, however in Canada we can't get the wolf pak of fire crackers the red ones about one and a half inches or longer. They are the best. My sons friend brought him some back last year from but I used them all up.

  I don't know why we can't get them in Canada any longer. It;s a real bummer.

  what is the wt publication you hated the most (i mean besides all of them?).

  mine was that faggy pink "listening to the great teacher" book.

  my mother tried to teach both me and the neighbor's worldly kid lessons from that book, and you know how embarrasing it is for a boy to be put straight by a pink book?.

  I think if a the Society makes its congregations, go over and over a book that was released years ago are trying to make sure that the witnesses never forget their indroctrination and brainwashing. It is the same information year in and year out. Nothing ever changes.

  I believe someone mentioned the Green Bible was N Knorrs, idea, well before he was president the green bibles were in sections with references on the sides or middle column during the fifties. I know that when my parents decided to convert to the JW's in 63 that the publication being studied was "Let Your Name Be Sanctified", OH prior to that was the book, "Let God Be True" book.

  As part of our Bible Study at home we studied the Paradise Lost t o Paradise Regained. Very boring.

  In 64 that is when we started studing the bk " Babylon the Great Has Fallen Gods Kingdom Rules.

  well that was quite the book, I did find interesting to some extent. I still have my original copy, and Your will be Done on Earth Bk was a home project, I read Faith on the March by MacMillian. I use to place tons of Truth Bks in Montreal where I pioneered. The Bk Nations Shall Know I am Jehovah, and the bk, Life Everlasting in the Freedom of the Sons of God, is where the Society made their 1975 error. and have lived to regret it ever since.

  Revelation Grand Climax book I didn't like it either. Evolution or Creation the large blue and latest bk is so wrong in many areas. I am not sure if they even use this bk anymore.

  That is my despised list of the WTS litter box reading

  jesus told his disciples: "you will receive power when the holy spirit arrives upon you, and you will be witnesses of me both in jerusalem and in all judea and samaria and to the most distant part of the earth.

  "acts 1:8.. hence, some 6,000,000 persons today who are telling the good news of jehovah's kingdom by christ jesus in over 230 lands feel that they properly refer to themselves as jehovah's witnesses.. .

  One of the posters said Jesus was created and he was not created. He was the Creator. The Wesley Bible Commentary I am quoting from is well known and is excepted and trusted by many scholars and Bible Students in seminaries. Here is a brief quote on the scripture John 1:1

  both were extremely zealous, both thought they were doing gods work, both thought they were working for the greater good.. acts 8:3 (new international version)3but saul began to destroy the church.

  going from house to house, he dragged off men and women and put them in prison.. soul thought gods work was to destroy the christians but paul.... acts 20: 19i served the lord with great humility and with tears, although i was severely tested by the plots of the jews.

  "St. Paul" was born a Jew

  In 2Cor 11:22 Saul wrote that he was descended from Abraham and Israel. Who were Abraham and Israel?

  Abraham was the first Hebrew. God changed his name from Abram (Gen. 17:5). In Gen. 14:13 he is called Abram the Hebrew. Abraham is the father of the Jews (Acts 3:12-25). So we can see that Saul is descended from "Abram the Hebrew," the father of the Jews. Even to this day, Jews are also called "Hebrews", and the language of the Jews is "Hebrew."

  Israel was originally called Jacob (Gen. 35:10-12) and he was Abraham's grandson (Matt. 1:2). He had twelve sons (Gen. 35:23-26) from whom come the Twelve Tribes of Israel. All of their descendants are known collectively throughout the Bible as the Children of Israel (Ex. 1:6-7).

  One of those twelve sons was Judah (Gen. 35:23, Matt. 1:2) and it is from his name that we get the word 'Jew'. Although Yehudah (Judah) was only one of the twelve, by 700 BCE, because of the course of Israel's history, the word Yehudee (Jew) came to mean any person descended from Israel (Jer. 34:9). When Saul wrote that he was descended from Abraham and Israel, he was saying he was born a Jew.

  Paul was a very special to Chirst Jesus. He was a Gentile and and next to Luke probably the most educated of all the apostles and seeing how Christ died for all of us that meant Paul would become the Apostle of the non Jewish Nations. Can you imagine the wars or back biting that broke out in the different congregations where there was Jew and Gentiles and how the Jews were rejecting the Gentiles because they weren't circumcised. To the Jews this was unclean and they demanded that these Gentiles be circumcised. It became a serious problem.

  Paul directed them to understand that it was what was in the heart that was more important then circumcision. Yes he told the Jews that the issue was not circumcision of the foreskin but of the heart. Having a clean heart towards the Lord Jesus Christ spreading his teachings and baptizing people in the name of the Father and the son and the holy spirit or ghost.

  Every letter Paul wrote he glorified Christ Jesus, and he edified the congregations in that same love of Christ.

  There were times when Paul had to reprimand the Christians for their attitudes and their allowing wrong doing in the congregation and they were severly reprimanded for that and the party's involved were to be removed from the congregation. To maintain purity.

  Look at all the missionary trips Paul took as proof of His devotion to Christ and his deep Love. The trials and difficulties he endured were well written for us in the scriptures. His imprisonments and other persecutions are well spoken of in the Bible.

  If a man didn't love Christ then why would he even bother doing what he did walking hundreds of miles in his lifetime in order to bring the good news to the people where ever he was. How he was ship wrecked. How he never wanted to be a burden to any congregation and so he assisted his friends in tent making.

  Yes he was a highly educated man and was a Pharisee and was well versed in the Laws of the Isrealites and the Mosaic Law. He spoke with conviction. He spoke to the philosphers and the stoics. He reasoned with them, he appealed to there senses and reasoned with them, and they were amazed they couldn't find fault with his logic from his logic and that logic is what Christ taught him. And they were speechless as they were considered as highly educated as Paul.

  Our Lord Jesus blessed Paul in all his works and he is a blessed martyr in heaven. And there is not anyone who can convince me other wise that this man wasn't an apostle of our Lord Jesus Christ. You see it boils down to this

  He died from cardiac arrest around 1pm today.

  The one move I liked best was Micheal's moon dance. It was so cool. You were different and it seems when a person is different or eccentric people look at you in strange ways and whisper about you behind your back. He is not the only adult who has never grown up, neither have I. I love toys, stuffed animals. My electric train set, and to watch cartoons and I am 57 and that doesn't make my weird it makes me eccentric. I enjoy who I am and what I do and I think Micheal was the same way. People misjudged far to quickly.

  If sinis knows Micheal is quilty, how can you make this statement and not tell us how you know it to be factual? Just wondering. Are you an aquaintance of his or his family?
