the most offensive (and also dumbest) were the ones about women, and the ones about rape.

This is so presumptious,and hypocritical. NO ONE or GROUP, has the right to judge the heart of another none what so ever. It is a pitiful situation within the Ranks of Jehovah's witnesses and the upper echolons. I fear for my sisters and my mom who are so caught up in this web of deception,but they are so brainwashed over time they can't see it as it subtle and slowly indrocrinated like a person who is introduced to a new drug it is not given quickly in high dosages but slow dosages til the body becomes accustomed to it and that is what has happened to every last Jehovah's Witness, slowly dilibrately fed in small dosages the falsehoods and gently they are eased into a life style from which there is no escaping because the withdrawls are deadly or extremely fearful. How we pity them, and how much more so does Christ pity them. They are like the lost sheep with out proper teachers to lead them to Him and the His tender love and kindness forgiveness and exceeding mercy. Oh woe to the Wts lying men and their coverup for they will be exposed and their shame will become enlightened for all to see. How much mercy will our Lord have for them.? Will it be as their mercy was to us? Only time will tell us the answers we all seek to know and see.

Mary, you are so good with come backs and I have forgotton how much I enjoyed them.
What peeves me to no end is the fact the Society will not build their own hospitals and schools and they bitch and complain about medical doctors forcing blood and schools kids bulling JW kids, if they won't help with other charities then let them built there own bloodly shit and leave the rest of us all alone.
They have so much money what the hell do they do with it are they like scrooge McDuck and sit on top of and count it and play with it. It drives me mad when they make witnesses feel quilty for not adding to thier coffers and they have the bloodly nerve to talk about other religons .
Well if it weren't for other religions there may not be hospitals and doctors in thirds world countries and people that give a dam about other people. Jehovah's witnesses are a bunch of sour pusses and I am just so pissed off with them. Many of you don't know but my sister left the organization two years ago and she has the guilts because her sons will not even talk to her mom won't talk to only on health problems etc and she may return and i am trying my darnest to keep her out and i need all the amo I can get to keep her out. Yesterday for the first time I sent her a youtube video and I pray it will help her reason it was on the Watchtower of July 15th so please think of her and help me to help her realize the witnesses are not the true faith. Thanks so verymuch.

Coco, just read your post and was mortified to think something terrible may have happened to you, gee that will teach me to stay away for so long. Well I am so relieved that you will be alright and that your going to have a number of tests to rule out any under lying problems which I hope are all okay. Take care of yourself Coco and take things easy for a while.
Blood pressure is a serious situation. I too have high blood pressure but sometimes it goes down to low and I feel very lethargic so I must be careful and when I get to shaky I know my blood pressure has dropped and I need something to stablize it. Also when I have this shakiness I have orangejuice or choclate and it helps alot. Yes flaxseed is great for the body and that has reminded me that I need to buy some as I haven't had any in a while and I must get back on it.

Kingdom Hall Assistance Arrangement refusing to pay out
by KHA ini wanted to start a discussion about known instances where the wt society has refused to pay out on insurance claims to congregations who have their kingdom hall insured through the in-house insurance scheme known as the kingdom hall assistance arrangement.. i know of two recent cases in the uk where kingdom halls have been badly damaged by water.
one happened 6 months ago, the other a few years ago.
the congregations have been told to share halls with a neighbouring congregation whilst the wt society asked for report after report on the condition of the building and estimates for repair/demolition.

This all sounds pretty shaddy to me, no one in the kingdom hall benefits what so ever and the WTS still gets to keep their money what kind of scam is this anyway?
The Society is not stupid, they have found ways of getting around with out having to pay a dime for damages, and yet they tell the brothers and sisters to give donations to country's where there has been famine flood, earthquakes and other devastations, what is going on here. Shouldn't someone inthe government be doing a forensic study of the Watchtowers money affairs. It just seems so unfair to the witnesses that they are getting so screwed around. While the organization is considered on of the most weathiest religons in the world.

I had my first encounter with JW's at my door! I was called an apostate!
by Desert Rat inso, i am getting ready to move across the state.
we bought a home there, and have taken a couple of loads over, with the main move being this next week.
i went over this last week cause i wanted to paint the kitchen and dining room before we moved in (a lot easier to do without grandkids and dogs under foot).. anyway... here i am painting away when there is a knock on the door.

Conversation I overheard this morning...
by Morbidzbaby inso this morning i decided to go see if i could find some interesting used books for my flight in a couple of weeks and i saw a jw from one of the local congregations...she didn't see me, even though she was directly behind me looking at the same section of books.
i'm not exactly easy to miss, but i digress.. she was on the phone and was talking about a few things that i found incredibly interesting.
firstly, i guess a woman that just got baptized last year is absolutely fed up with the org!

Quite frankly it is rather disgusting to see class distinctions in congregations, beleive it or not though it happens even among whites and they are picked on as well. For example when I was a pioneer in Montreal I was always getting guff from sisters abut the clothing I wore, it wasn't up to their standards or the way I had my hair as I wore it plain not curled, or I didn't wear make up and nylons and that disturbed them, and I told them to leave me alone, nylons caused my legs to bleed after hours in the service and makeup I hated it I would rather be myself then look like a painted person, But it happened all the time to the point where even my own sister started dispising me. I told her if she preferred being with shallow friends that was fine with me but i wouldn't associate with them they were two faced and mean. Eventually some of these moved away and the couple who picked on me the most were eventually disfellowshipped and I told my sister, see they were only superficial friends not true friends. She had to agree.
I know of cases were black persons were picked on and hurt by other persons. This is hard to comprehend in a faith that is suppose to be the TRUTH, but I knew a long time ago that if you pick on a person no matter the colour of their skin your no christain because Jesus Chrsit would never have done such a thing he said to love one another as I have loved you. It will not suprise me if this witness and her friends eventually leave the organization. The organization is so shallow and so are the congregations. No wonder people leave.

Are You The Type Of Person That Really "Loves" People On This Site?

they seem to be really troubled/happy by another poster's health, life, children, job, sex life, worries, anxieties---you name it, they're very involved in "caring" about people that they hardly know.. i have forged some friendships, i've met some great people on this site.
i've communicated with many nice people here.

Well Minimus it has been quite a long time since I have been here but I still have strong feelings for many of you and a depth of love and concern for most of you, I mean we are all stuggling to keep our lives afloat from that dreadful organizaiton and some have has some terrible things happen to them so we should have love and compassion for them and my dear friend MINIMUS I will always have love for you.

I have been fairly lucky over the last 11 yrs. I have had one telepone call. No visits to my home, but when I have been a patient in the hospital I have had twice the elders stop by the bedside thinking I was someone that was inactive. Until they see me and knew it was me. The last time when i was in the hospital the elder was just not getting the scene, here i am ill and he wants to yak and i said call me when i am out, so when i am out of the hospital i called my ex and told him to tell that elder not to bother calling me because i wasn't interested in speaking to them about he organizaiton. So he must have called him because that elder never did call me or show up. Thank God for that
I think they just don't take NO for an answer no matter what you tell them. They don't get the message until it is wrtiten on your door or building with high security and that is what i have high security because i live in a senoirs residents.
I think that the witnesses just go to the doors on holiday just to be a pain in the buttt, like my ex, he would think it to be gleeful to disturb people after their festivities and on New YEARS he was the same. I mean if we had the tables turned and we were all the peddlers in the world and we called on them at the crack of dawn Saturdays and Sundays or during the week they would be furious so they should walk a mile in our shoes before they come pounding on our doors.
