Anti-JW leaflet campaign
by freeborg ini have been a reader of this message board for a number of years and this is the first comment i have made in that time.
i have been part of the wts for 20 years my parents believed they had found the truth when i was 10 and from then on we hung to every word uttered from the platform at the kingdom hall.
my wife was a witness brought up in the wts all her life so the wts was a massive part of all our familes lives from parents to brothers and sisters.

The pamphlet sounds terrific, people all over the world need to know the true facts and when your leaflet is completed I would love to have a copy, I will gladly send you a donation.
Now as regards the comments of Fred, yhou say your are an active witness. My friend asked you the other night if you were and elder or MS, but whatever your standing is in the congregation is your business. Tell me please, Are you a sheep in wolves clothing?
Because if you are a JW then what the hell are you doing in here? Or are you a spy for the WBTS. -

I really appreciate your input to my question. And in my opinion there seems to mme that there is a way to sue,
If priests are charged and sued by survivers, many have won in the courts against these sickos.
I believe one of u mentioned alienation of affection, as a way to go. Or defamation of ones good name. Or the death of someone who refused medical treatments, because we have been indoctrinated systematicaly over many years. Its like trying to escape from a maze and you can't find the exit. It seems to me that an answer exists, but how to is the matter in question.

by joelbear inmy path needs to be revamped.. i do plan to have a serious discussion with elders and attend the kingdom hall.
where that will lead, time will tell.. i am not leaving mitch.
even if i did become a jehovah's witness and celibate again he would love me just the same and i him.. you cannot become ungay.

It is true that there are many good JWs and there are some caring and loving ones in the organization.
However for those who have been tramped on, belittled, berated there is something wrong with a structure that protects, liars, thieves and sexual predators. These are the the ones who want to be heard and when you see that a member of the Governing Body and many others left the organization because of lies to the true teaching of the Word of God and they have proved that the organization has lied and covered over many terrible things, then i say to you there are those who need to have their just desserts rendered to them.
However for those who need something to sustain them then all the more power to them, if they find it among Jws.

Doesn't the Bible say, if you make a vow to God its a vow that can't be broken by any man. If that persons vow was made between him and God who has the right to annul it? It is between him, and God and no one else.

Snoring/ Help wanted

not just on the inhale, but on the exhale as well.
can anyone help me as my partner finds it hard to sleep.. any suggestions????.

I have sleep apnea and have snored badly for years. Sleep Apnea can cause you to have heart failure because of lack of oxegen to the brain. that includes stroke too. I am being real serious.
I use a CPAP like that which was already mentioned, I strongly suggest you go to a sleep Lab and be tested right away so do not delay. Your health is important, and in Canada if a person who has sleep apnea they can have their drivers licciense revoked because you could fall asleep at the wheel of your vehicle. You must use a CPAP and if u refuse then you can say goodbye to driving as your doctor is under obligation to report this to the the ministry of transportation.

Elders never visit

true, i was never baptized but i was jw for 21 years (born into it).
i was able to weasel my way out of various meetings for about a year then i got married and moved out of my parents house and just totally stopped going all together.

when you need the elders they were no where around, i asked them for assistance to help me deal with my fanatical exhusband who only believed in saving the world but not his own son. I praactically begged for help, big laugh.
Mind you when i left my ex and the org, they wanted to see me and i refused because they only want to get facts about our marriage etc and my adultery. I nevere ever went before the judical committee i refused to see them because when i did need them they were'nt there for me.
my 23 year old son is my greatest gift, he has stood by me through thick and thin and my ex lost his sons respect for what he did to me.
my son is not in the org and never intended to be, because he always saw his father as a fanatic, who cared nothing for his own family.
