Mulan you have great courage. I am glad you stood your ground with them.
I love how you turned the King David thing around and made that brother sweat a few beads. How true though, David committed the worst sin of all murder and premeditated at that and yet he was not difellowshipped. So it goes to show you that this disfellowshipping thing is a man made rule in the organization just to keep people in line. How sad and cruel they use this weapon.
I wish your mom well and you deserve a gold star!
Love ya

I appreciate very much your responses and I did'nt know that Alan had a post dealing with this, and I welcome your comments Alan as I find that this whole cover-up by the Organization deplorable. Will justice ever come pass? I was wondering if the silentlambs could use this knowledge to help in their cause and to show people of the world and other JWs that the very core of the GoverningBody had corruption in it and nothing was done about it. So if it starts at the top the whole issue of sexual perverstion against young person shouldn't come as any surpise to all of us. And no wonder elders are told not to report it. But at some point and time the truth will come out. The Jehovahs Witnesses organization doesn't want their so-called good name to be sullied and they may fear that their practices will come into light. I feel terribly saddened that so many have suffered sexual abuse and assualt in an organization that is suppose to be clean and a place of safety. Their corruption must be made known in order to free silentlambs from their cries of despair.Thankyou all for your kind help. Bless you all

I have read and heard here in the forum that one of the members of the Govering Body was a homosexual and was caught in the act of doing the bad thing at Bethel. Was not disfellowshipped?
Could someone verify the veracity of this for me. Is it documented someplace or are there court records the such...
Also in the Canadian Bethel this was also reported that homosexual practises were committed by Bethel members and Brother Percy. Again I request is there truthfulness to any of these statements.
Thank you.
This is for research I am doing . -

When Did JW's Ever Make You Feel Cared For?
by Englishman inso-called apostates are, imo, actually persons who have been refined in the fires of criticism so that their true personalities shine through.
apostates are the best, most loyal friends in the whole world.
they do not have to worry about whether something is right or wrong, they are free to act upon instinct, upon feeling, upon their innermost emotions.. not for them the wearisome, tiresome, boring old its either right or its wrong mentality that cripples the acolytes of the wtbts!

Englishman: You have a beautiful way to make one feel great about themselves and the choices that they have made. You make me feel happy to be alive.
As a witness I can maybe count on one hand any act of caring and kindness given to me over a 38 yrs span in the Org. One was never allowed to feel good about themselves, it was considered the sin of pride, you were critized if you ate or drank and felt good about life, it was considered the sin of self indulgence. you couldn't get to familiar with the opposite sex as that was considered the first step to sin of fornication. If you didn't participate in the meeting you lacked faith in the power of the Holy Spirit. If you had friends your own age and associated with them too much you committed the sin of ignoring older and wiser brothers and sisters. If you didn't get out in the ministry every week you were considered weak and feeble spritually and lacked trust in God giving you the power beyond what was normal. If you didn't prepare your WatchTower and Bookstudy material you suffered the sin of being "spiritually shallow" and lacked apprecaition for the faithful and discreet slave class. If you walked with confidence and held your head up high you were not only haughty but perhaps would fall into Satans trap of the " me spirit". Free thinking is not allowed, nor independant thinking.
I think at every turn in the organization you were considered either in or out and you could not be on the fringes or you were not allowed to associate with the so-called elite in the Kingdom Hall. Oh yes they cared, they cared that they wanted everything to look good on the outside. God forbid if you didn't. In the org. they have a critera that you are suppose to fit into. If you don't fit that mould then they didn't care about you. They wanted to get rid of you. Great Christ like love. I am so relieved to be free of the chains of bondage in the organization.
I live life to the fullest today and I am free to make all the choices I want to. And I also have many friends know who really care sincerely about me. That is more than what I exprerienced in the congregations I was in.
If you had more money than someone else you were always invited out, if you were poor you were always poor seldom invited out. I have seen so much segregation, bigotry, and class distinctions and cliques to make you feel sick for a life time.
Barriers exist, walls that cannot be penetrated if you for one moment don't fit in and you did make one mistake you were not worthy of any kindesses. You are marked and that is the plain and simple turth. For one moment if you fall and then return, you are never treated the same way ever again. No matter what.
So much for Jesus' illustration of 100 sheep and one goes astray and leaves the 99 to find the one, that erred and there is to be more rejoicing in finding that one then the rest of the flock. Thats it. It is only an illustration to read, but not applied in the organization. I will soar like an eagle and feel the air of freedom.
Englishman
Thankyou
God Bless

Puppy Love
by Celia inmy dog died today.... and i am very sad.
i got him as a 7 week old puppy 11 years ago and i loved him dearly.. i brought him to the vet.
to be put to sleep, that was so hard, but he had diabetes, had lost at least 25 pounds in the last 3 months, drank gallons and gallons of water, woke me up 2 or 3 times during the night to go out, could barely walk anymore, and he was blind...

There is always deep sadness when you have to put down a pet that you love so much. I have had this happen in my life with my cats and kittens. It is heart wrenching and it is never eaiser the second time around. I love animals so much and I cry very alot when i see a little creature of any kind die. My heart sinks with sadness. I feel you lose and shed some tears with you. I am so happy you are putting him in the ground that he loved so much. Please accept my love and tears and hugs.
