Embarrasing Moments

just so certain ladies do not feel alone in cringedom i will confess my red-cheekers !.

i was a well-developed 15 yr old getting too volupteous for my school uniform ( ok too fat then) and the zip had bust on my only school skirt.

my mum replaced it using an old zip from another garment which happened to be quite a bit longer than a normal skirt zip.an unmarried brother came to visit one morning and was sat in our living room having a cuppa while i was frantically getting ready for school.

yesterday i took a long hot bath, stretched back, looked up to the ceiling and remembered about 15 yrs ago,,doing the same thing
and kaboom,,there were about 200 spitballs on the ceiling above the bath,,had to love my three boys
not embarrasing moment,,but a prescious one now:)

being relatively new in the truth, i was honored to work in service with co's wife, after service we went to my home, my 2 yr old at the time was being watched by my ever truly male x husband
as i opened the door, i was horrified as i looked down the lobby and hallway, about 2.5 feet up from the floor was a true line all the way down the hallway of maxi pads stuck on the wall.
should have known then to dump x

OPERATION TALKING LAMBS

well finally it is done, a new brochure to freely distribute anywhere any time and you can simply download and print it off right from the website.

also several new posters you can print out and put up on local bulletin boards or any public place.

the lambs are speaking and wt is going to have to listen.

the second article of discussion in this issue is titled: "moving ahead to final victory!".

the article starts to talk about christs enthronement as king and in paragraph one, along with an illustration of crowned jesus riding on a white horse, it states: "we today, have clear evidence that this foretold enthronement took place in 1914.. since watchtower article discussions are always a one way dialogue, where the society speaks and the rank and file just listens, it is easy to make assertions.

in a normal two way dialogue, when one says "i have clear evidence" for something, the other party will not just nod his head in agreement, but would rather demand to know and see what this clear evidence is and would want to proceed and examine it thoroughly.

a mexican wave.. cheerleaders.. a streaker.. ice cream / hot dog vendors.. people standing up with their fist raised high saying "yes!".

extra time.. presentation of awards.. autographs.. booing.. the audience waving their lighters as night falls.. there must be more!.

englishman.. ..... fanaticism masquerading beneath a cloak of reasoned logic.

yet another letter to the editor in our local paper in a town with pop of 100,000 just outside of vancouver bc.

i would like to point out something that really is not pleasant about our town.. why is it that we spend time chasing pawn shops and hookers out of the downtown area, yet we let the jehova wittnesses harrass us every time we walk down the street?.

i have been in this townh for eight years now and never had a pawn shop worker or a hooker approach me when i walk downtown in the morning.

I would like to point out something that really is not pleasant about our town.
Why is it that we spend time chasing pawn shops and hookers out of the downtown area, yet we let the Jehova Wittnesses harrass us every time we walk down the street?
I have been in this townh for eight years now and never had a pawn shop worker or a hooker approach me when i walk downtown in the morning. I have these people telling me I'm living my life wrong and I'm going to hell if I don't see the light.
If they want to solicit their beliefs, they should do it in their church, not on our streets, as I'm not really interested. I have my own religion and I dont push it on them.
