I would hope my funeral is nothing lke that also. I plan to be cremated. No service. No speakers. None of that crap pomp and circumstance people spend thousands of dollars on.
And certainly, no WT info-mercial.
If my loved ones want to spend that kind of money on me, do it while I am alive.

Borg court: 1st session
by sd-7 inrecord of committee meeting #1. after prayer, proverbs 28:13 was read: "he who is covering over his transgressions will not succeed, but he who is confessing and leaving them will be shown mercy.
" the need to confess to jehovah was emphasized.
as jehovah's representatives, the elders said we therefore needed to confess to them.

I, with great hummility, accept this award of Glutius Assholicus Maximus as upon them asking me that question a second time and expecting me to parrot their answer, their asses would've been shown the door.

8 kids and she kicked their father out of the home because he's not a witness?
Just wait until this broad goes husband shopping in the hall. They may be giving her kudos now, but they'll be running for the hills later.

Bethel snobs tell me off for wearing Rebooks and polo shirt to Bethel! Next time I'm going Nude!
by Witness 007 in2007 so we go on holidays and my wife decided to visit bethel.....i wasn't even planning to go to the meetings, so i put on running shoes, blue slacks, and a light blue polo shirt....clean shaven....to a "worldly" person i would look neat and tidy....a bit of a nerd even!
to bethelites i looked like a slob giving the finger to jehovah!
one bethelite girl asked my wife if we were "newly interested.

Guess they think everyone in their presence should present themselves as a traveling door to door salesman.
As much as I know my wife would like to visit there, I've toldher to expect me to never want to plan a trip around visiting one of their facilities. And if we just happen to be in the area, if business casual dress isn't good enough for them, I'd be more than happy to drop her off at their door or she can schedule something seperate with a witness group.
Who wants to dress up in a shirt and tie to see a building full of office spaces and a book bindery.

An email from my dad
by TheSilence ini received this email from my dad today.
i have not clicked on the link or responded, nor do i intend to.
i accept that i am not going to change his mind, and i know he is not going to change mine, so i choose not to participate in debate with him in an effort to retain what little relationship i have with him.

Yeah...my wife was gloating about this too.
I couldn't help but think though, why would a people be happy with a history of providing themselves as professional lab rats under the guise of following some old testament principle think that there is any credit for them to take on this issue? Medicine progressing as it does this is just a natural evolution of the science.
