  Bible Studies...how hard, how rare, anybody know a JW with one???

  i find it interesting how many dubs of even 50 years old have never had a bible study (yet they go out most sat morns.

  for two hours and turn in the slip) ...and how many dubs really want one?

  My wife has had a few studies all of which either fizzled out or were transferred to someone else when they'd move away.

  I was furious with her at one time. She claimed she wanted to go to school and finish a BA degree. I had her all lined up, registered, money in place. She comes home one day after an assembly and proclaims that she's found a study and would be doing that instead.

  My FIL has been in the "troof" since he was born; worked where the need was great, special pioneer, elder..all that and I've recently heard that he's never had a study. What a waste.

  Can anyone get Cheney's speech? (and did you catch the processional for Wayman Tisdale's funeral?!?!?!)

  watching cnn live and cheney's speech isn't playing which i thought it would- 10:45 eastern??

  (do i have my times mixed up?).

  i loved obama's speech and am curious how cheney could possible match that.... and while watching for cheney's speech they arer showing the funeral for jazz guitarist wayman tisdale and when the pall bearers carried his casket up to the stage they were doing this little two-step thing, kind of dancing with his casket.

  Jeez....only the hardened right is still listening to Darth Cheney.

  He repeats the same talking point, throws up the same strawmen and red herrings as the Repubs have been used to misdirect people for the last 8 years.

  His only concern is to keep his name in the forfront to help his future book sales.

  Had a similar moment in 1993. Two elders in my living room telling me I was wasting my time going back to college. It was an ephiphany moment.

  If she is already ignoring you and disregarding your thoughts, then she has evidently already made an emotional detachment from you and is not showing you any love or respect by talking down to you.

  If she's not interested in getting counseling, I'd give this woman the space she's passive-aggressively asking for. I know of a couple of marriages like this where the principles with this type of attitude have and are attempting to stay together and it's not pretty.
