  check out this former jw absolutely getting into the ass of a current jw.

  in the thread, the ex-jw is gq, the devout jw goes by the name j-rocc......their debate starts halfway in the thread titled "every hov witness i know personally, is miserable, cynical, & cheap .

  " keep in my mind, the website is a site dedicated to hip hop music.. .

  i've wanted to do a bio thread for a little while now to give you my story, but for security reasons i can't at this time.

  (crazy, maintaining a double life requires secrecy the cia would envy) i did however want to share this with you, and i need your thoughts and experiences if possible.. i just got a fairly decent job promotion, significant enough pay raise, and better hours.

  i'm grateful too, happy even.

  It's natural to carry JW 'baggage' for some time, but you will gradually discard it and finally 'join the human race'. Not being a JW does not mean you are worldly, just simply, you are not a JW, and exercising your God given freedom to worship as you felt led.

  Don't make too big a deal of it, 'this too shall pass'!

  Directory

  having been out of the organization for 20 years now and having visited/attended a few churches since then, i've noticed that most have a church directory listing the regular attenders, members or not.. this is handy in trying to learn about various ones in the church, and in the event you want to send them a card, invite them over for a meal, and or a host of other reasons.. i always wondered why directories never existed for various jw congregations?

  are they afraid of mass mailings of jw's that leave?

  cannot the 'truth' stand up concerning everything they teach?

  I always wondered why directories never existed for various JW congregations? Are they afraid of mass mailings of JW's that leave? Cannot the 'truth' stand up concerning everything they teach? Why are they so paranoid?

  One congregation my wife attended did have a list, but only for a very short time before the Society squashed it. Very 'cultlike' in my opinion.

  in some parts of the mainland, they can openly go door to door without much interference.

  I always pray. How do I know when they are answered? It's when things happen to you for the good that comes from an entirely unexpected source or unbelievable event to help with certain requests or problems.

  Sometimes though, I do not get everything I ask for and later on I'm glad I didn't get what I asked for as it would not have been good in the long run.

  But, I still believe in the power of prayer in answer to the question.

  i recently managed to find this rather lovely forum after much digging through the dirt that is the wbts and i am very glad i did.

  although i never went as far as becoming a baptised minister, i had been attending meetings for almost a year now.
