  Who is Leon Weaver?

  leon weaver gave a talk here in england recently at the east pennines assembly hall.

  he mentioned the 15 july 2010 wt but did not expand on it.

  i had never heard of him but found a photo of him in 2003 yearbook and also noted he was mentioned in coc.

  What Are YOU Most Passionate About?

  i have to say that i love music!

  i love 60s to present r &b, soul, funk and many top 40 songs.

  i think that even if i'm tired or down a bit, music picks me up!.

  In the early 50's, I liked that late night show called 'Test Pattern'! You could go to sleep and when you woke, pick up right where you left off. It was a little boring but I could multi task and still get my Watchtower studied.

  it pains me to have to say what i do.. believe me, i would much rather just say kind things and never offend anyone.

  it really hurts me to get people angry at me.

  i certainly do not intend to make people angry.

  I too believe the Bible is the word of God and is true. However, where you have to be careful is that not all interpretation of it is inspired.

  While your heart might be in the right place, just realize that others may not agree with your way of expressing your beliefs. Start by living the Christian life in your personal life and then you may be able to teach/preach a little as you mature.

  Field service-how did you avoid it?

  i hated field service and would avoid it as much as possible.i tried to work on my own if i could and would just drive some where and lisern to music or pretend i had return visits and just go home.what did you do to get out of the misery service?.

  Well, lets see................

  1. Pray for rain or a snowstorm

  2. Pretend you are knocking on a door but don't touch it.

  3. Ask them for money outright and ask them if they have some time you would like to argue religion.

  4. Just ask the householder if there was a good coffee shop in the neighborhood.

  5. Make a call on one side of the county and then drive to the other side and then back to the first side.

  Oh, there are a lot more but you get the idea.

  here it is approximately $2.69 per gallon.

  i heard in michigan it is $2.99 right now.. outaservice.
