Which is More Important: Doctrinal Correctness or Unity?
by Olin Moyles Ghost inlately i have done a lot of thinking about the inevitable discussions i will have with family and friends about my (and their) beliefs.
i have begun running through some hypothetical conversations in my mind.
today, i thought of a particular line of reasoning and would like to hear any comments/criticism from the board.

Well, unity is important for Christians! However, the Society confuses unity for what they really want, and that is 'uniformity'! Doctrinal theory is almost worthless beyond belief in Christ and has served to divide the body of Christ. So uniformity and the worship of doctrines mark the Watchtower Society as a 'cult' in my opinion.

Drop Dead Gorgeous !
by Outaservice inback when i was attending kingdom halls, our circuit had a lot of 'drop dead gorgeous' women, many whom were married to the geekiest looking guys.
i always asked myself, "how did these 'dorks' do it"!
was this because selection was limited, or was this just a peculiarity in our area?

well, hasn't the watchtower told us for over a hundred years that 'the end' is just a little farther down the road?
and then they were mad at me for asking the simple question, 'i don't want to appear to be disrespectful, but are you guys sure you know what you're talking about?

I told a friend that I had just seen a late model Toyota down the road, in front of a house, with a price marked on it of only $900! He said, 'Lets go take a look right away'! We drove two miles, and I told him 'just a little farther'. 5 miles, and we still didn't see any car. 10 miles, I'm sure it must be right around the corner. We finally went 100 miles and my friend said, 'Do you know what the He*%, you're talking about?' Hey, don't I deserve a little respect?
