What the Family Worship Evening Arrangement Really Entails
by cantleave inas most people here know the combined book study allows an evening for "family worship".. the co visits march - august 2009 is really focussing on this.
if a jdub family head doesn't do a full evening of family worship and uses this time to do recreational activities he is as guilty as isrealite who didn't use the sabbath for worship.
the result, will of course be same as the unfaithful isrealite, death!!!!!!!!!

Don't You Hate It When A Witness Says "We Miss You At Meetings?"
by Wasanelder Once indon't you hate the hypocrisy when you run into a witness you haven't seen in over 5 years (even thought they live less than five miles away in the same town) and they say, "we miss you at the meetings?
" they can't call or stop bye to say hello, but they miss me at the meetings.

International Conventions - $7 Million for Paris Alone - Where's the money?
by Ultimate Reality inthe "package" for americans to attend the paris convention this year was $2600 per person including airfare ($2000 w/o airfare).
the optional dinner vouchers were an additional $160 per person.
all this for 5 days.

My personal opinion is that the Society does get a cut, if not secretly owning a tour company. For sure the 'big shots' probably go free. Is the Paris convention in English?
I know what I would do. I'd be at the top of the Eiffel Tower seeing if I could spot the convention sight up there or possibly from a cruise ship on the Siene River near Notre Dame Cathedral. Ha.
