  Counter-protests to Free Speech Rally in Boston

  i never thought i would see that in the us, a "free speech rally" (which has distanced itself from and organizers have nothing at all to do with the right, republicans or extremism) is being counter protested by thousands in boston today, the counter protests being organized by a coalition of black supremacists and sjw's.. on the other hand, google is building a database of speech that doesn't align with the left-wing political values.. i'm not sure what youngsters are thinking these days, but free speech used to be the cornerstone of american civilizations only a few decades ago.

  the only way to drown out "bad" free speech is more free speech..

  No, We don`t get "Canadian News" in Canada.

  There's no internet or TV..

  The local indians send smoke signals, that's our only source of information.
  

  He has done absolutely nothing illegal.

  That's because the Universities won`t let him speak.

  They`re doing him a favour..He`d end up in court for years, over BS.
  

  He objects that the law seems to demand that he refer to somebody as ve, xe, ze and hir, ze and zir, zie and hir according to their capricious whims.

  Our laws even if they`re crazy, don`t "Seem" to demand anything.

  The law is quite clear in the craziness that's demanded.

  "capricious whims"..???...

  Hey Simon!

  There's crazies on both sides.

  Do you really think the extremists on one side or the other, want to save us all?

  They all have their own agenda.
  

  If we don`t fit into that neat little box for either side, we become the problem.

  Where have we seen/lived that before?

  I`m just observing and hoping for a little common sense from both sides.

  I`m probably expecting too much at the moment.

  Maybe we`ll all get lucky?..

  Did you even see the video I posted? They tried to get the professor fired and he is not right wing.....hothabanero

  Nope, I didn`t.....So I did..LOL!!..

  I`ve seen him before.

  He`s a Professor who doesn`t think the Language Laws of Canada apply to him....They do.

  If he thinks the laws are wrong, he can legally try to change them.

  Until then he is required to obey the law, just like the rest of us.

  Canadian Universities have the right to refuse to have him speak, until he complies with the law.(That would fall under the heading of Common Sense)
  

  On the other side of the coin, I`ve seen the people who protest him.
  

  They are vocally extreme/annoying but aren`t breaking any laws.

  @OUTLAW: wake up and smell the coffee. One side protest freedom of speech, the other side try to shut them down by violence.

  They try to censor us on the internet, they try to get us fired, they have turned campuses and universities into indoctrination camps where students and professors who don't tow the line 200% are PERSECUTED, they turn up in DROVES and make PEACEFUL protests orgies of violence, they scream NAZIS at every turn regardless of what people actually believe......hothabanero

  You have a right to freedom of speech, so does the left.
  

  I watched protesters at Charlottesville chant.

  "Jews will not replace us."..."Blood and Soil".

  Not exactly friendly but as long as people don`t get violent they can say what they like.

  One group from the left came there to fight, they said so.

  Someone from the right, plowed into a crowd with a car and killed a woman.

  God only knows how many had guns, on both sides.

  It`s legal to openly carry a gun there....Crazy.

  What could possibly go wrong?!!

  They hate everyone and everything white i.e. western culture

  You`re painting with a very broad brush.

  I have friends of many races and nationalities.

  Many of whom have an exceptional education.
  

  We`re lucky to have them.

  No one or group of any significance is at War with the White Race.

  With the exception of Isis who doesn`t like anybody.

  It would be nice if the Left and Right Extremists.

  Do you think it`s possible.
  That what happened at Charlottesville, could have influenced the massive turn out in Boston?

  Both sides want to express their point of view.

  @OUTLAW: This has nothing to do with Nazi's (or Trump) though. The Free Speech Coalition in Boston is a Liberal/Libertarian group.

  It`s clear what happened at Charlottesville, is fueling this massive rally.

  Do you really think the rally would be this huge otherwise?

  There are no good people amongst JW's?

  The rally has nothing to do with JW`s, Catholics...Or...

  Trump had a chance to "nip this in the bud" in Charlottesville.

  There was violence on both sides.
  

  That was pointed out by Trump, as it should have been.

  He also said there were good people on both sides.

  There are no Good Nazi`s.
  

  Like it or not, Trump gave them a Nod of Approval.

  This isn`t going to get better anytime soon...

  i am grateful to be alive and associated with like-minded people, both here on this wonderful forum and in day-to-day interaction with friends, neighbors, clients, but, sadly, few if any jehovah's witnesses.

  i have, somehow, become detached from the sadness and sorrow of the past, about which i have written on this and other ex-jw forums for some dozen-plus years.

  i would like to state publicly, on this forum, i no longer hold the views i had a year ago.. with much thought, research, study and logical examination i have come to a better understanding of my beliefs and where i stand on all these issues.. i'm very happy to announce i have returned to healthful teaching of the holy scriptures and i firmly believe that the governing body of jehovah's witnesses is the faithful slave.. sorry if i have contibuted to any kind of stumbling and know that if i can turn things around then there's hope for all who come to there sence.. phill4:6,7.

  I'm very happy to announce I have returned to healthful teaching of the Holy scriptures and I firmly believe that the Governing body of Jehovah's witnesses is the faithful slave.....Cc
