  Counter-protests to Free Speech Rally in Boston

  i never thought i would see that in the us, a "free speech rally" (which has distanced itself from and organizers have nothing at all to do with the right, republicans or extremism) is being counter protested by thousands in boston today, the counter protests being organized by a coalition of black supremacists and sjw's.. on the other hand, google is building a database of speech that doesn't align with the left-wing political values.. i'm not sure what youngsters are thinking these days, but free speech used to be the cornerstone of american civilizations only a few decades ago.

  the only way to drown out "bad" free speech is more free speech..

  I don`t think any of us has seen this before, I`m sorting it out just like everyone else.
  

  I haven`t demanded anyone agree with me.

  Some of the posts on this thread have made me reconsider peoples ideas, who aren`t nearly as hard line on the right.

  I don`t need cofty to tell me what I do and do not understand in my own country.

  He can be a jerk and brings most of his problems on himself.
  

  He`s a big boy and doesn`t need to be coddled.

  we just had a huge international convention here in romania.

  at least huge by local standards.

  22,000 in attendance in one location and around 44,000 throughout the country.

  that's what i've been told by a family member (elder) who went to one of the regional conventions in the north of the u.k lately, who told me the 300 or more disfellowshipped who returned to jehovah by attending show that the end is so close, just like the final talk says..

  It`s nice to see some real reviews about them.

  After all the injuries I`ve had.

  i am grateful to be alive and associated with like-minded people, both here on this wonderful forum and in day-to-day interaction with friends, neighbors, clients, but, sadly, few if any jehovah's witnesses.

  i have, somehow, become detached from the sadness and sorrow of the past, about which i have written on this and other ex-jw forums for some dozen-plus years.

  Actually the implications of this law are not clear at all....cofty

  Only to you.

  Break a law in Canada regardless of how crazy and you will be arrested.

  The police will charge you and they`ll let the courts sort it out.
  

  Eventually, it may be struck down but that's a friggin long process.

  these are the worldwide percentages of jehovah´s witnesses and where they live.

  a whopping 50% live in the americas, and a whopping 35% live in the us, or mexico, or brazil.

  (the percentages shown on the right pie graph are of the worldwide total, so if it says 15% for the us it means that 15% of all jw´s worldwide live in the us, not 15% of the ones that live in the americas).what do you think of this graph?.

  No, We don`t get "Canadian News" in Canada.

  There's no internet or TV..

  The local indians send smoke signals, that's our only source of information.
  

  He has done absolutely nothing illegal.

  He objects that the law seems to demand that he refer to somebody as ve, xe, ze and hir, ze and zir, zie and hir according to their capricious whims.

  Our laws even if they`re crazy, don`t "Seem" to demand anything.

  The law is quite clear in the craziness that's demanded.
