  Graduating Massage School

  hey you peoples, i'm graduating massage school tomorrow, and i take my national certification exam on tuesday the 22nd.. i'm going to get my liscenses and business/legal stuff all set up, and then take a much needed break for my health and sanity.. i'm hoping to start off with outcall massage and some spa/wellness treatments, i've got a menu already prepared.. i haven't been around much, so if you want to reach me, to say "howdy" or "whot?!?

  My mom calls to chew me out about my college... YIKES!!!

  so, i was happy and celebrating because of getting good grades in my courses, well i get a call from my mom.

  at first the phone call was just "hi, how are you" then she laid into me saying my "problem" (meaning my divorce) was because i was putting my education first and not jah.

  she goes on to tell me that the "talk today" was about people murmuring as israelites and bad things happened to them.

  I'm with LovesDubs (hi, LovesDubs!) -- Your mother does NOT have to say what's on her mind. She can certainly respect your boundaries.

  Meantime -- CONGRATULATIONS on your good grades and taking the initiative to go to college to make a future for yourself and your family. I went back in 2001 and slowly, but surely, will have my Bachelor's degree in 2008. I, too, have gone through a recent divorce and I'm glad that I was already working part-time on a degree when I found out the bugger was cheating on me. Doesn't getting public affirmation that you have a brain inside your head make you feel wonderful?!? You go, FreedomFrog girl!

  panda's husband died...

  our dear friend, panda's, husband died of a heart attack a night ago.

  she is a sweetheart, and she didn't want to tell us because she was thinking that it would make people feel bad.

  she is feeling very bad, that's forsure.

  Omigosh, Ms. McDucket! What a scare and bully for you for standing up to the doctors!!! You are a hero!

  It might be that the tumor is very fast-growing -- cells sub-dividing at an extremely accelerated rate. Otherwise, how could it be obstructing her airway so much that a pediatric tube was used for airflow? Nonetheless, switching endocrinologists might be a good decision...

  Wishing your mother a complete recovery and yourself the answers to your concerns.
