for newbies, who was carl olof jonsson?

he was a jw in sweden who was challenged by a householder in the 1960s, who pointed out to him that secular history books don’t agree with watchtower that jerusalem was destroyed in 607 bce, but instead place the event 20 years later.

the reason the date is important is because it is the starting date for jw chronology which leads to 1914 as the end of the gentile times, and the beginning of the last days, as jws understand it.

We cannot just copy and paste stuff here and expect Lloyds very loyal followers to believe it to be true.
The way I see it as a bystander is that the letter’s authenticity has been confirmed on this thread by an impeccable eyewitness source.
We don’t need to know every detail of ‘proof’.
From the way I see it, MrLE now knows the game is up; he can’t with any veracity deny its contents without risking being called out.

Please people, this is not ‘normal’ behaviour.
Mrs Ozzie and I were married for 54 years and there is no way I would have written to her (I didn’t need to write to her ) in such a way.
May I say to you who are not in a relationship, this is not how it is supposed to be and for countless couples it ISN’T the way that couples cohabit together.

Looking at that transcript, I’m intrigued by this:
pay peoples wages, pay my wages, pay the owners wages, pay the insurance for the equipment, pay our company accountants fees, etc.
Who is the “owner” as separate from him?
But I sort of had a job offer to do a job. I know I would have hated, but at least it would have taken me away from all the JW XJW toxicity.
