  IMO this is what we’ve been witnessing in him for some time.

  I’m sure that there must be studies on the condition somewhere but from my observation it’s a very real life experience. I’m aware that menopause is well documented and I’ve experienced living with a partner goung through that period of life.

  For the males there seems enough anecdotal evidence of the existence of ‘mid-life crisis’ and so I figure there is sufficient to say that much of Cedars’ conduct exhibits that condition.

  Add that to narcissism etc and you have a toxic cocktail.

  Those t-shirt designs have about as much taste as his penis.
  They’re puerile and dull. I’d be embarrassed to wear one of those in public.

  To which I would add: Why?

  Why would a real departed ex-Dub or anyone else for that matter want to wear one?

  Does Cedars think it’s something that people want to do, advertise an obscure message? An ex is an ex, let it go !

  oh I forgot: “Advertise, Advertise, Advertise” the Cedars and his kingdom!

  as i explained in an earlier post, i am a "ghostwriter" for the original resetter.

  i'm a woman, a pimo regular pioneer working for my friend who was redsetter1 on reddit.

  Without putting my friend at risk, redsetter1 is a prominent JW at World Headquarters, with enough influence to have a say on somechanges in the Organization. However I can say that he is not a member of the Governing Body. After attempting to work alongside MissUsato at AvoidJW, my friend turned to me for help and support. I revealed myself as a PIMO JW, which came as a surprise to him.

  This account doesn’t make sense to me; why would “a prominent JW at World Headquarters” turn for support about a matter that is apparently in the apostate camp to someone who he was surprised to learn was a PIMO ?

  Perhaps there’s ‘something lost in translation’ here but my reaction is “yeah, right!”

  Over the years, even decades now, we’ve seen this type of scenario on JWN before.

  the asl portion of the governing body updated #2 (march 2024) has been released a bit early and someone caught it.

  One Elder, serving for 40 years told me today " The organization is preparing us for the great tribulation. When the Government comes looking for us they now will not be able to tell who the Jdubs are because now they will blend in with the world. This is Jehovahs way of protecting us".

  I don’t see this as being unusual, just a further evidence of ‘cognitive dissonance’.

  The problem being for decades the witnesses defined themselves in terms of what they are not -- specifically nothing like all those other churches.
  If the WTBS is to survive it must answer one question: what's the point? It they can't come up with a good reason to be a witness everybody will just go away.

  I think you’re exactly right, without the points of differentiation, what is the point of their existence?

  IMO they have to maintain much that is onerous in order to justify themselves. If they don’t, then just like the Worldwide Church of God, they will “wither and die”.

  New light on shunning?

  one theory why tony was booted out was because he was a stickler for not changing the shunning doctrine.

  he actually said the words we will never ever change it.. they are slowly deleting all of tony’s videos and now losing court cases and losing government hand outs in places like norway.. it’s looking very likely they will release new light on shunning policy after losing this latest one in norway.. .

  what are the odds they coincidentally get new light from jehovah and lighten up their shunning policy ?.

  Hi LongHairGal,

  When I saw the change at the recent annual meeting where they took away the century old requirement to report hours, I took notice! I was judged over this!

  Yep, when I saw the change I immediately thought of a friend of mine who refused to submit F/S Reports even though he was regular in service. On principle, he refused all the ‘encouragement’ from the elders ro report. I thought at the time that he was more genuine and sincere in his field service because he was doing it because he wanted to, and not just to fill in a report.

  For his ‘crime’ he was labelled “weak” and relegated to car-park duty at the meetings; he wasn’t even allowed to have the “privilege” of cleaning the Kingdom Hall windows.

  i know they're panicking and trying to gain favor with governments, former members, prospective converts & those who are teetering, all for financial worries.

  still, the latest update in some ways made things worse, and if there's any jws watching it who are beginning to wake up it should be very disturbing.. starting with dress codes: they say that suits, ties & skirts are no longer required, but in so doing they admit that they were required, something not often appearing as an explicit command in print.

  (similar to how lett referred to the "policy on beards" in his video, even though this direct policy wasn't made available to rank and file.
