just wanted to let you know that i'm auctioning off a very rare 1950 ass program that is from the olympic auditorium in los angeles with c.w.

barber giving the main discourse...as well as 5 other talks during this 3-dayer.

so all you barber fans can bid on it on ebay...i believe it's up to $3 bucks ...holy crap i wonder what an authentic knorr would bring?.

I heard one of his old field service slips went for $25,000 at a Christie's auction in New York.
No wonder, it would have been a real rarity!

Well done, grassyknoll, you did well!
Somone remarked that the letterhead "Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses" seems to be a change from the usual. I noticed that too. If this is genuine, then it would indicate to me the growing cultish behavior (as if it wasn't before, eh?)

i don't talk about this much here cuz this is a place where i can somewhat relieve the stress of my life but my hubby isn't doing very well.

he had a bad night and thinks he had a couple of seizures.

he's scared, i'm scared.

There's a certain ordeal here for those who suffer from a certain phobia.
If I was actually there, I would actually dive forward over the great chasm - I kid you not. Such is life as a sufferer of acrophobia.

does he suffer from epilepsy or something?
No, a person doesn't have to be epileptic to suffer from seizures, strange though it may seem, but can be brought on by some acute stress that causes disturbance in the brain.
mrsjones: my sympathies to your husband and to yourself too - I do have some idea of the terrible burden this must be for you.

Yes, thanks for that. Unfortunately there's a plethora of threads on the board at the moment all giving the same info - which isn't that much really.
I guess more substantial news will flow once the Sunday meetings are held.
What a pity there's not a scan of the actual letter to BOEs.
Oh well, you can all wait for the downunder mob, eh? After all they'll gtet to their meetings first!
