My brother died last night

my brother turned 21 on september 24th, a month later the doctor told him that his leukimia had returned and he had a 10% chance of surviving.

ten days before he died he spent four days at my house.

he had already made up his mind that he wasnt going to take blood.

Please cry as much as you can. This grief only shows how much you love your brother. And how much the stupid JWs are to say things like that at his death bed... How rude of them, really really rude. They know nothing of fellow feeling just keeping to WTS made laws.

After your initial grief I hope you'll take time to write about your experience just to get your feelings straight. Stay angry at the religion that kills. These are sick masochistic bastards. I'm not in a believer in "time heals all wounds", rather time may distance you from your brothers death, but time will never heal the chasm left by his absence. 20 years ago my Mom died, I still grieve and miss her terribly.

I hate what those JWs did to you, I really hate them.

My wife stole my books!!!!

i had an interesting conversation with a jw last week, who insisted that she was not 'brainwashed' and would be prepared to look at any evidence i had that the 'truth' was not the one true truth.. so i went to my book cupboard to get my copies of 'crisis of conscience' and 'signs of the last days - when?

' in order to lend them to her.. and they are gone!!!!

i am absolutely certain they were there only a few weeks ago.. i can only assume that my jw wife (whom i'm not on the best of terms with) has taken them.

I agree with everything Nosferatu commented on. You have slept on that air mattress long enough. Either you sleep in your bed in the bed room or sleep in your bed in the dining room. If you do this and she goes into a rage just tell her you'll have her committed. Even better call an elder while she's ranting and let him listen to her. Be strong for yourself and you'll be whole in the end.

tom green, the convicted polygamist in utah, is requesting (through his lawyers of course) that the supreme court overturn his convictions based both on the supreme court ruling on the texas sodomy law and the massachucetts supreme court ruling on gay marriage.. so begins the trip down the slippery slope.

I don't like that stone you to death stuff, scary. But a friend and I had a chat about harems. And actually if there was another woman who you got along with well and if you were both interested in a healthy sex life, well heck that wouldn't be half bad! The problem w/ those mormons is that the woman are the sole support for the family. They sell magazines door to door. And there's probably no hokahoka going on, so that's just plain wrong, wrong.

Actually, since my Da I don't remember being shunned. BEFORE my DA I was shunned by the elders families. That was after Nick stepped down. I guess it was all my fault so no one would talk to me. C'est le vie. I have since moved and have new friends who cannot understand how anyone would stop talking to me.

This is an example of why I hate people. What the hell is wrong with these adults? Beating a child to death takes time. And imagine this poor childs fear as she tried to escape and was caught! Oh god the terror for her. They should lock these people up forever.

Aaaannnnndddd I'm spent......

it has been accomplished, it's over, done, kaput.

a chapter of my life that has lasted 5 and 1/2 years has reached its final page and the book is now closed.

(no, i'm not talking about my sex life, that's been more than...erm, well, never mind).

Congrats Dana. You aill want to sleep for a week, but hey girl you've got Christmas to celibrate now --- so no rest for the apostasized. Gosh I was 41 when I finally graduated and started grad school a few weeks later. Did you know that as long as you take classes you don't make re-payments?

At my graduation party I was the most haggard least energetic person. I looked like I hadn't slept in weeks. Be proud of yourself and the example you've set for your kids.
