  yes, it's true.

  i know it is not a great achievement for mankind, but, it is for me.

  i never really had a voice before and now in a year...i have been able to give my meager opinion almost 1000 times.. rabbit

  i have been disfellowshipped for 13 years.

  last april, my mom passed away from pancreatic cancer.

  she was still a very active witness until the day she died as is the rest of my family.

  LowKey, I sorry both for your loss and dealing with the JW's. Its so sad that they feel the need to push those beliefs onto people gripped by loss and sorrow. I am so so glad to be rid of those unfeeling "good" brothers.

  i was just wondering if there was anyone else out there whose "friends" came to the elders and told them a bunch of fabricated crap about you before your "meeting with the elders.

  " i had people that i grew-up with tell them that they had "personally seen me beat-up my mom.

  " i had also been known to "host seances" in my parent's basement.

  I DA'd But that doesn't stop the gossip. Apparently, going to college had turned me into an adultress. Yep. I da'd to leave both the bORG and my husband. A few sisters even called my husband a few weeks after they announced my DA-ness. Yep wanted to see how he was doing and wondered if he got to talk to me or see me much. He told them that he was still sleeping with me everynight (I just love him) Just goes to show that they didn't read my DA' letter.

  i did.. they are going house to house door to door in my neighborhood.. i heard the sounds of a bunch of car doors slamming and looked out my window and saw 4 cars full of jw's with bookbags and smiles.. all parked in front of my house in the no parking area.. because jehovah would never allow his people to get a ticket for parking in the no parking snow ban area whilst spreading " the good news".

  hmm, i can't think what to say to them.. should i pretend to be ignorant of what they teach and be nice or just let them have it.. i have that luxury because we have moved 20 miles away from our old kingdom hall.. any ideas?.

  I've talked to them a few times. But if you think you'll be enlightening anyone, forget it. Now if I'm in the mood and they are around maybe. But I think that someone got wise to me so they haven't been here for about 2 years.

  Do you believe in ghosts?

  i am posting this because i know there are many people that have had experiences that cannot be explained by natural means.

  i am a ghost hunter, as a hobby.

  my hobby is to disprove ghosts.

  No. No ghosts in my life just the real bad living people who I wished had never lived. But I've recently had an experience which may help to explain many of yah'll's experiences.

  In November my llama JR died. He was 15. I would always see him out in the pasture on my road home. Apparently he'd see me too and would meet me near the barn. Well after he died , and as real as life itself I saw him standing by the barn when I pulled up to the house. Not believing in ghosts this took me back a second and then I realised... I EXPECTED to see him there. My mind hadn't caught up with the truth of his death. What was normal for me to see(kind of a Pavlovs dog experience) So was he corporeal or spirit? Neither he was alive in my head because of what I was used to seeing as normal. This is related to what our minds have been programmed to expect. WHen we see or smell dead loved ones it's because that's our memory of them. When we dream about them it's because they represent a part of us. They are a part of our minds organizing device.. So, sorry, no ghosts.

  the child tell you that one of the techers has told the class that the flowers are there to make it pretty for us humans, so we can enjoy their beauty.

  Thanks Voyager. I appreciate you making that call. It reminded me that all organized religions are pretty much the same...send money...of course they are right that it would be cheaper and quicker to get supplies from nearer the disaster area. When you consider that North Africa, Egypt, India, Thailand all must have a better chance at sending quick relief. Anyway that was a good posting of your conversation.

  UH HUMM ... China is not a feudal state. The death penalty there is, I believe, much more humane because it is acted on quickly. Child molesters and rapists get the death penalty in China. I think that's pretty bright of the Chinese not to allow even the slightest chance of continued abuse. Murderers in China don't always get the death penalty. Drug dealers and especially drug smugglers used to get an instant death when they were discovered. It's more lenient now. Recently in China some foreigners were caught stealing millions $$$ in diamonds. Now they are residents in CHinese jails for 15 years... I wouldn't want to be incarcerated there for 15 days. And believe it or not people don't just accept criminals back into society. After hard time in prison there will be a hard life after. I believe that it's this societal treatment that really curbs crime.
