I'm so sorry to know you suffered at someones insensitivity. But as some have mentioned here this doesn't sound like a 13 yr old girl. The manipulation and "will you forgive me...can we still be friends" sounds like a man pretending to be a 13 yr old girl. I think you should report as mucha sas you know. Actually your little voice helped you out in plenty of time. So your survival skills are type A!!!!

The catalyst after the Big Bang was gravity.(The perturbation which initiated the big bang would also have had to do with electron orbits which could also cause gravity, simply by perturbing the orbits of other electrons.) This is why supercolliders are so important to research, but alas not enough profit in them.
The elements no longer existed in their unperturbed state. The explosion itself would throw enough elements together to begin to form molesules and rocks and ice. Remember those electron orbits of the elements? Well certain elements will bind together because of those orbits. Each orbit either accepts or rejects electrons from another element. Ex.H 2 O not actually bond two hydrogen and one oxygen molecules. For one existing water molecule you must write 2H 2 O for the electron orbits to share electrons and actually become water. The point is that the orbiting electrons cause a gravity shift even at such micro levels.
The huge spheres we call stars are mainly hydrogen which continually burns off any atmosphere that ever had to form there. The gravity of these active giants pulls on the masses of rocks and their moons. Then because of the mass of individual planets the gravitational pull on the sun actually makes it waiver in it's orbit.
The reason earth is so speacial is that it has 2 large (huge) outer planets which take most of the space debris hits...allowing TIME for the earth to benefit from the sun causing chemical reactions on earth... LIFE got the time needed to form proteins to form DNA which is pretty much the same in everything living on earth.

BOO HISS NO NO NO, If you did that to someone out inservice, well they would just have to go home to clean up (end of service for that day, and beginning of a good excuse) then the trauma would keep them home from the meeting that night of which the sister had a part on the joys of placing literature using the new topic for conversation /discussion..whatever.
The trauma would actually give her a reason to NEVER knock on another door. The story would build from one pie to a hot pie to 2 pies; you get the idea. Pretty soon there is a district assembly talk about avoiding getting the "pie face". and ultimately blaming the sister for doing SOMETHIN WRONG or that wouldn't have happened. BAMM she's back in the grist mill until she finds another way out of the borg cube...
i went to a convention last weekend, for one of my suppliers.

Well lets see... as a borgette I was afraid of demons and got rid of anything that might be tied to them ... I thought I felt them watching I'd hear them. But since I have studied about these phenomenae and applied Carl Sagans Baloney detection kit, I have to admit that the tarot and other stuff are great for Halloweenparties AND my girl scouts liked to use tarot as regular playing card Because they are much more colorful and they learn some history about cards.
is it my imagination or do some witnesses overthink things a bit too much?

Abortion won't effect your chances of pregnancy. There may be some small problem , a long term yeast infection, or maybe you need a d/c to make sure the wall cells of the uterus are clear of debris.
IMO please go to school and start a family when you are in the position to provide for your children. Your guy may not want kids. If he has agreed to 2 abortions thus far I don't see him running toward responsibility. Maybe he can go to school too? Remember that the person you are responsible for is YOU. Take a year of study abroad! Generally your normal tuition will pay for this. It's great to see and live in another culture.

In China you would be a Sheep (or Goat both words are written and pronounced the same). You were the 8th animal to answer Buddhas call to be saved from (YES) the flood. A 1955 Sheep/Goat is also the element of Wood, color green, direction SW. Of course, this doesn't really mean anything but its fun to learn different customs.

in the past, when i've been talking about being a witness they haven't really understood just how much of an impact it has on your life unless they've been one too.
whats the best way to explain it to someone who has never been a witness and had little contact with them?
i'm more thinking of how much control there is over your life, and the reason why a lot of witnesses feel down and suffer from depression, ect.. gadget
This is a question we all need to answer. All of the replies here are terrific and actually help me form ways to explain what the jws have done to millions of people.
Whenever a non-jw friend remarks that "If you spent as much time searching for the truth of the bible as you do debunking said book then you wouldn't be a secularist." I explain that as jws we read through the bible at least once a year. Then I explain about 5 meetings a week, personal/family watchtower study, pioneer school, assemblies, field service, etc. There is no time to make friends. There is only time to criticize your sisters and brothers for not living up to WTS rules. Heck, not enough bible study?
Then I look at my friend and realize that my tone of voice probably told her more than my words.
