Dog training -- need some ideas!

now, i know bassets are stubborn.

i also know they have selective hearing and can give the impression of being downright stupid at times.

ladybug, however, is really becoming a problem!

ladybug, however, is really becoming a problem!

Cruzan, First, get some OUT at HEB, it has a cute dog and cat on the bottle holding their noses. You've got to get the smell out before you can train your Bassie. Next take her for walks and praise the dickens out of her when she goes potty. When she goes potty indorrs show her and tell her how very bad she is (I know it's tuff but it'll help her to be a better family member) If this fails you maight consider an outdoor pen like the moveable ones at Alamo Lumber, Home Depot ... they are large chain link panels w/ a gate and not too expensive. Once she is used to going outside in her pen it makes it easier to have her inside. Panda of the animal lovers kind

Have YOU Ever Met Up With Anyone Famous

have any of you on this forum, ever met up with anyone considered famous?

i've met a great deal of people over the years.

one of my most memorable: dennis leary, drinking a few pints with him as he sang "margaritaville" from the jukebox.

I sat one table away from Daniel Day-Lewis in a restaurant in Beijing. I looked at him, he looked at me, we smiled --- no words were needed. Wm.Carlos Williams used to babysit me while my Mother typed his poetry. Vince Lombardi who coached my brother (but I was young and only know what my family told me). Lot's of writers (non-fiction). The daughter of Jonathan Spence (Mei)stayed with me in Shanghai on assignment.

Oh and I must mention my GreatPyrenees male is famous on our road. He makes the round of ranches everyday!

i am not sure when the 'apostafest' is happening in florida but if it is over the next few days remember that pat metheny is in town.

do not lose a chance to see pat metheny and lyle mays perform.

i saw them recently and can tell you he is in prime form at the moment.

I know his first ex-wife (Metheney). She was a Neitze (sp?) from SanAntonio. She got disfellowshipped so he got child custody. His whole family (most anyway) were dubs, too.

As always Blondie you have caught the WTS at every sneaky turn. The verse from Matthew is an excellent example of how we were all mislead by the crime of omission. So that's how we were snookered.

I notice the reference to Noah --- getting everyone ready for the next implied Armegeddon. And all of that "be on the alert" because of persecution... just great now every paranoid schizophrenic will be dub material. Sheesh. Someone needs to email the dubs copies of the Chicken Little story "the sky is falling, the sky is falling" Fox says "come here I'll save you chicken Little" CHOMP chicken dinner.
