Are we talking about "a god"? Ho theos? HEHEHEHEH... just kidding ... No one permits wickedness. That's like always having someone to question or blame for bad people or seismic activity. If you're talking about disease then that's all part of evolution and we brought the little bugs along with us. If you're talking about nasty people then I'd say religion is the bugger. Nothing NOTHING more sinister than a supreme being.

Amazing, Will you get the bypass surgery? Gosh I've known a few fellas to live for YEARS and decades after the surgery. I'm thinking of one older elder who lived at least 20 years passed his by-pass. Panda

Hey....feeling pretty sick today...
by codeblue ini am so sorry to complain...but i don't feel well.
i think i picked up a virus on my vacation last week..... simplesally told me to start a thread...this topic came to mind....i am trying to kill a virus with a budweiser and a lime (sorry, outta cornonas).

code blue, I recommend strong barbituates because this throat thing will end up w/ a fever and ear trouble.....( 'ear Trouble Trouble 'ear boy)
Seriously when I get strep my fever gets to 104 F not C (god can you imagine!). Anyway if you end up with strep take all of the antibiotics . I didn't once and then my next infection came w/in 2 months and knocked me out (I'll call that my ALI strep).
Oh... and whatever painkillers you get (be sure to ask for them) take vitamin C with those meds and they'll work faster.

...where certain christians have molested children...
certain christians they are not say ing Jehovahs Witnesses "certain Christians" give me a break.
Oh and they were "voluntary" members of Un NGO's...what other types of NGOs are there non-volunteer...someone explain this to me my head hurts. Oh and we dropped our stock in weapons building because gosh we now realize we were wrong.
Am I the only one thinking that if any r/f brother did this stuff he'd be demoted to publisher then df'd. What a bunch of hypocrits.

Diabetes
by CountryGuy inthere are two diseases that seem to "run" in my family: cancer and diabetes.
this morning my doctor told me that i now have diabetes.
this really isn't a surprise to me, i've been waiting for the shoe to drop so to speak.

I'm type II diabetic and I am a miserable example. My blood sugar is way to high and the doc now suggests getting on insulin. But since I don't have health insurance I am putting that off. I'd say really make the effort to regulate your blood sugar with your diet.
