on the other hand........... crisis of conscience, freeminds, the awaa, jw.net, ummmmmm........hmmm........idk six screens or something?

all of nature is subject to the sin and death in it and its flesh. So that we see animals give into their flesh (the desires/instinct? of the flesh - eat or be eaten; kill or be killed; survival of the fittest)
Wow Tammy do your delusions have any limit? So now according to the petty rules of your creepy mind whispering god, animal/insect/bacteria survival is now equated with sin. It's arguments like this that creates more atheists than the best arguments of Dawkins.

Probably because of mellenia of religious fairy tales convincing us that there is a purpose to it all, authored by a benevolent and personal god who cares.
The life cycle of the ichneumon wasp is the basis of the movie "Alien." That would be interesting to see discussed in the Awake!
Interesting...I never made that connection before, great movies though.

In fairness to him, my attitude would have been the same way 25 years ago. It's amazing what you're insensible to when you're convinced you have the truth.
It's really not an excuse, there are many new ones that come here all the time, that at least have the humility and decency to not preach to us about the WT.

I come here is because admittedly I share some of the same grievances held by a minority of posters here.
If you have grievances, why come here, with such arrogance, why not ask questions instead of dogging those that have chosen to leave for probably some of same issues you have with Watchtower? You're approach and screen name are paradoxical.

A good example is one that Darwin studied in depth, the ichneumon wasp. You'll probably never see this insect mentioned in the Awake article "was it designed".
This is an exceptionally large wasp, which as part of its reproductive process locates larva of other insects whose living body will nourish her developing young.
“I cannot persuade myself that a beneficent and omnipotent God would have designedly created the ichneumonidae with the express intention of their feeding within the living bodies of Caterpillars”—and then, as if to reach the layman, he adds, “Or that a cat should play with mice.” - Darwin 1860 letter to biologist Asa Gray ( a proponent of the idea that nature reveals God’s benevolence).

I think you're spot on, everything in this universe is in a constant violent state of consuming or being consumed from the super large to the infinitesimally small. The more advanced the microscope gets the more you realize that things really aren't so pretty on the inside. What is interesting is that one of the most important systems that make life possible for us is our microbinome (trillions of bacteria living off of each of us in a symbiosis). Bacteria literally is the fabric of our existence.
