  thanksgiving...i remember when i was told that jw's didn't celebrate thanksgiving.

  i remember when i was a kid that, that was the day for our entire witness family to get together.

  i was told everyone was off of work and turkey was cheap and it's a great excuse for everyone to get together.

  i had a 2 hour converstion with a p.o.

  today.

  i brought up the '75 controversy and he told me the the wbts only mentioned '75 in the '68 watchtower and again in late '75, but it never said that it would be then.
