The last of the last days. I wonder if it will catch on -- it might if elders start using from the platform. The org is a master of doing this. Yes the last days have been going on forever, but alas there is now the last of the last day, and this truly will be a short period of time. Better get in line now if you want to survive.

they may even get arrested but invariably get turned loose by the courts.. i think it’s disgraceful to demonstrate this way.

Yes that IS the future. The future is not investing in fossil fuels and pretend coal jobs are making a comeback, or making idiotic statements that combine the words "clean" with "coal".
The "kids" that are protesting, are moving the needle in the right direction. This is not about expecting them to walk, stop using plastics altogether or throwing their phones away -- it's not how it should work.
I'm also against the amounts of plastics we currently produce and discard, but that doesn't mean that they key is for me to self-impose a blockade on using all plastics. They key is to have a government that recognizes the problem, creates enough incentives where the market begins researching and developing other alternatives such as bio degradable plastics.

Instinctively I am inclined to agree with you, it feels very wrong to disrupt people's lives but rationally I know without the use of those methods I wouldn't be allowed to vote in the election tomorrow.
Right, and I think that's the point. The entire exercise is meant to draw attention. A group of protesters blocks a highway, and suddenly the eyes of the world are on them. Police is called, citizens are disrupted and yelling at them, the media's heads over with cameras. It's a theater designed to draw attention and put eyeballs on any movement.
However, there is no need to do it in that manner. You can look at the protesters in Madrid last week, which was organized and prepared for, and created lots of traction with minimal unplanned disruption.

No she won't, and that is the sad part about it. She will stand there, looking at her phone, basking in the realization that her target hours for the month are being met.
The man in the video Jerry at the very minimum is trying to engage people and make them think. To me that is more in line with a type of work that is supposed to be urgent.

it doesn't say he will reign more than a thousand yrs but only 1000 yrs.

I think the 1000 years of rulership applied to the earth, so only after the big A. They teach that Jesus is already ruling in heaven only, so that's out of the scope for the 1000 years.
One must wonder about what exactly Geeeeshus is doing on a daily basis in heaven. Imagine that, a King that spends his days looking at all the problems on earth and does nothing for over 100 years.

can anyone remember the thread on here about someone--in an assembly--using his phone to "set up" an apostate type hot spot ? it was all too technical for me--but it seemed like a workable idea.
I remember, it could be done with an Android phone. The idea is great in principle, but i'm not sure if it's workable with potentially have several dozen people connecting to the hotspot at the same time, it might drag the connection down to a halt.

the same battery works in everything.
just plug and play.. yes, they are more expensive to purchase, probably 30% to 50% more than gas.

No. I am in the US, where we don't believe in renewable energy, but are instead focused on promoting and defending "clean" coal energy.

Well I guess I should go with 40V then.
Mine are about 7 years old, but I ended up buying Ryobi 18v setup, Hedge Trimmer, Blower, and weed wacker. All run on same battery and it does the job, but the blower is not as strong as I would like. I have a corded one and there is a big difference.
Still have a gas mower, but it's on it's way out, so maybe I will look into a battery powered one.
