Given that, what does it imply about the official stand of BLM, taken directly from their official website?
We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.

It's pretty easy to understand what they are saying, which is basically:

-We've all been told that you need a family (a caring mom and dad that nurture you) to have a decent upbringing. We are now saying that the solution for that is for the community to step in and compensate for that. -

Now, despite the nice words. How exactly is that being done? Where are the fruits of that supposed effort? What programs and workshops in the community is BLM currently running to effect this plan?

Here's an idea... how about BLM take a position against music that glorifies the thug life, and that calls women bitches and hoes and looks down at men that love their women? Perhaps that would be a good start, but here is the thing... It simply does not fit the oppression narrative.

I've heard that nonsense as well. Seems that it's the latest insanity from the extreme left. They have basically become a cult. Now I've said as well that this happen on the right, but the extreme left has now lost it completely.

What's interesting about this is basically what Jordan Peterson says -- basically that we can quickly identify what is means to be on the extreme right. But somehow nobody can really tell what is the extreme left because they keep getting validated, under penalty of being called nazi.

Trump must be licking his chops right now. He knows moderates who were bound to snub him in the election are seeking refuge from the insanity in his base. Trump was almost ready to throw in the towel with the virus devastation, but now all of a sudden he is back in the game.

Anyway, the stats of crime in every single country in the world show clearly that crime rate is linked by a very high correlation coefficient to the poverty and not the ethnicity

Every single country in the world is not the US. Why is it that the people insist on trying to ignore the differences between communities and people. It is exactly THAT that prevents the type of introspection that can drive change. Somehow people think that using this type of obfuscation makes them some sort of equality crusader.

The most dangerous areas in each state of the United States are usually black communities. Poverty plays a role but it does not explain it. There are plenty of poor people in the US that not criminals.

It is well known that the driving force for this phenomenon is the breakdown of the family structure in the black community, which started in the 1960's due to government policy. Why not just be honest about this and try to effect change, instead of trying to be a pseudo super hero for the oppressed?

To say that 13% commit 50% of murder is to lump me and the millions of other law abiding black citizens into your murder percentage. Do you not see the statistical fallacy?

Seems you don't understand that statistics don't care about individuality. Statistics is about numbers. The numbers you mentioned are not a fallacy in any way. That's how statistics work.

If say, the numbers say that jihadists are 100% muslim, it does not mean that 100% of muslims are jihadists.

That is the whole point of de-funding the police by moving some of their current tasks to other agencies but it appears that message got lost in the chaos

Again that is NOT the agenda. If the need is to invest in other responders to take care of some of the calls, there is no need to defund any police dept. Police departments would welcome others to take over some of the calls, so they can concentrate on other things like quality of life crimes and better traffic enforcement.

But notice, the actual intention is to diminish the police, because that is what anti establishment organizations want.

As a law enforcement veteran of over 20 years my short answer is - yes. Here is my long answer -
So, by all means, cut police department budgets, but do so to fund other services. I

Ok but the sequence of events is not really by starting to defund police. If you want to say we should invest in other services that are best suited to handle social problems, then great. There is enough money to do that if we stop misusing it.

However, even if at some point some calls for service are answered by other responders, it doesn't mean that the police now have nothing to do. In many depts the volume of calls is so great that low priority calls can take hours to get a response, and the same goes for trying to get the police to investigate anything that is not a serious crime.

IMO, invest in other services first and re-evaluate after some time, how resources match demand.

White privilege has to do with implicit bias and how you are perceived by others. IN GENERAL (because of course there are always outlying examples) a white person can walk down the street without someone assuming they are a thug, or a criminal, or uneducated, or a danger or a threat.

I've said this before I'll say it again. People profile others based on observation. Young black males account for about 50% of violent crime in America despite being a small percentage of the nation. Does that mean all black males are criminals? Of course not, but when people see the same type of folks in the news and media as responsible for large amount of crimes, this has an effect.

And this is not really about race. A 70 year old black man does not invoke that fear, neither does a middle age black woman, nor a teenager black girl.

This is not just the responsibility of the larger population to force their minds not to have this fear, though I would argue everyone needs to be given a chance to show what their worth. But the people being profiled also have some responsibility to help change stereotypes.

When italians came to this country they were victims of persecution and stereotyping.They had a really tough time being accepted and being integrated. What happened? Did they protest and demand that society change their mind? Well, no. They simply began gaining the trust and admiration from others to the point where over the years they were fully accepted.

Anywhere you see black students, you get a few that claim that it is "acting too white" if anyone actually takes their education seriously

Yup and that goes for speaking with proper grammar as well, or being clean cut in appearance. Been to prison? Well that give you "street cred". The values and expectations within the community are backwards in many ways.

Course nobody should want that. That is just part of the mob hysteria created from this incident. It's sad to see the weak leaders of several cities bend over to the mob and actual plan to partially defund the police dept.

If anything, there should more investment, and that should be channeled to better training and increase salaries to start attracting better talent.

Defunding the police will not only result in more crime, but will result in being a less attractive job for the brightest and smart people in the country.

No, but equally preposterous is the idea that Castile politely informed Yanez that he was in possession of a firearm before attempting to pull it out and shoot armed police officers.

I dont disagree. I think Castile probably was forthcoming in telling the officer he had a gun and then likely made a movement that led the officer to think he was touching/reaching for it. The officer likely overreacted.

But that's the thing, nobody is defending the police here. It certainly isn't an example of good police work but it's not of racism either.

Human chaos exists in all walks of life. There is no need to take advantage of human chaos to pursue an anti-establishment agenda. Bad cops kills people. Bad doctors kill people. Bad soldiers kill people. And bad people kill people. We just need to keep correcting for these things.
