  YK on WT UN NGO STATUS

  several posters have asked what i thought of the.

  revelations about the wt being associated with the un.

  as an ngo so i thought i might make a brief comment on.

  I hear you YK,

  Only thing that really bothers me though is the way you and other JWs always say things like:
  "...it’s not like Jehovah wouldn’t allow that sort of thing."

  Why is it that if its something good, then Jehovah provided us, but when it's bad then Jehovah allowed it to happen?

  There is really no intelligent reasoning with that kind of thinking.
  The WTBTS has gotten itself in and out of many jams using that same line of thinking. It's really not fair to those that know better but refuse to do anything about it because they don't want to wind up getting DF or reprooved.

  It's really sad to see someone as intelligent as yourself be convinced over and over and over and over again with the same lame excuse.

  "Brothers at NY Ground Zero"

  a circuit overseer, jarome sexton, ma circuit #4 is telling the congregations "the brothers were at ground zero", reading scriptures to firefighters and military personal and they would cry as they heard the words.

  "as people ran across the bridge what did they see ' read gods word daily' ".

  the dam doors were locked!

  I'll say it again:

  There were and are no visible JW at ground zero. I just got back from my shift there last night and am scheduled to go back next sunday.

  On the days following the attack there were no Jws there. Today you can't get in unless your affiliated with some rescue org. and have proper ID and was told to the coordinators that you'd be coming.

  Now, just to be fair they can be about a half a mile away taliing to people but certainly not at ground zero or anywhere near there.

  I lie not when I tell you that the smell of death is still in the air. The smell of burning body part is enough to make most people sick. Everyday I've been there I've seen at least 2 people throw up.

  I seriously doubt that any elders would encourage the flock to go there.

  Point: It's the C.O. that's talking out his ass Fred, not HOchimin.

  i want to let all of you know that we have decided not to contest the elders decision to publicly reprove us tonight.

  after a lot of thought, we feel in the long run that by letting this go ahead it will only make the elders and the organization look guilty, not us.. the elders have basically ordered us not to talk about what our "crime" is with anyone.

  so we have decided that we will tell others what our crime was not, i.e.

  I agree with Kent, but instead of an email to everyone, I would get a list of all the publishers in your hall that show their mailing address and write aletter to each and every single publisher.

  Show how you were treated and even include a copy of the un letter regarding the WT Ngo fiasco to prove your point.

  If not everyone is going to make stuff up about you and your spouse i.e. -apostate, fornication,etc..and that will only lead to your "good name" being damaged.

  What many fail to see is that this is a strategy taken by the WT to do precisely that..ruin your name. All they do is get the wheeels moving by reprooving and they know that by the way they handle their cases in secret, it's only a matter of time before the rest of the Congo. starts gossiping.

  I've seen it happen many times over, so cover yourself and even though many will think that you are making it up to make yourself look good, it will also make many others wonder what the heck is really going on.

  my wife and i met with 3 elders for a "judicial hearing".. our crime: simply put, was talking.

  i showed a friend the un website where the wts was listed as an ngo which then led to a 2 hour discussion of various doubts that we both have had.

  my wife also showed a friend the un thing but also discussed with her a first hand account of a pedophile cover-up that we knew about in our former congregation.

  Sorry to hear what you guys are going through. Most of us here has gone through the same at one time or another,

  With me it was over an article in the American Journal of Medical Ethics. It was a fact based article about the blood issue in Bulgaria.

  Like you I mentioned it to "mature" brothers and was reproved for it.

  At least now you know the truth of this ruthless org. and can spread your wings and fly.

  2nd and 3rd responses to my UN Letters

  the second response came from a couple that were good friends in my congregation.. the response was simply my unopened letter returned to me.

  remember im not df or dad so someone must have warned them not to open any thing from me.. now for the 3rd and more dramatic response!

  it comes from an old time family friend on my husbands side.. i tell you, i still see the bridge burning on this one!.

  Damn, Ranchette, sorry to here their response wasn't more positive. It's responses like that, that makes me not want to share anything with the Jws I know.

  It will only fuel their belief that Satan uses even close freinds to try and get them to leave the Org.

  Unfortunatley they don't see that they are actually the little dispensable specks in a cold and ruthless org.
