Almost got caught lying about listening in to yesterday's Memorial

i have not attended any kingdom hall meetings in 10 years.

the elders gave up on me a while ago.. the last 3 years i get phone calls to listen in to zoom meetings.

listened in several times... nothing has changed!

Yup, what persuaded me to refuse to do anymore Public Talks was, after me putting a lot of work in to one,as I always did, then as I delivered it, I looked at the audience and realised most were zoned out in reality. And I was an animated speaker !

I guess that coincided with my process of "reversing out" speeding up. I'm so glad I am clear of all that crap.

Most JW's are only in it to save their own skin from a fictional Armageddon, and only turn up to be seen doing so, ESPECIALLY THE MEMORIAL. hypocritical TWATS !

Nisan 14 or not?

if jesus memorial meal is meant to follow on from the jewish passover celebration, would someone explain to me why the jehovah's witness community are holding their "lord's evening meal" on tuesday 4th april; when the jewish community are not holding their 2023 passover until the 5th april 2023?

doesn't this mean that the jehovahs have got their date wrong?.

There is a long Post from the incredible "Leolaia" from years ago, you need a bit of time to read it if you search for it, but she proves that they ALWAYS get the wrong day !

Of course, the Gospels contradict each other as to which day Jesus did the "Last Supper" as well, to complicate things, but what a load of fuss the org. makes about NOT really celebrating Christs death ! Farcical !

Other old Threads have shown that even the Passover celebrated by Jews is dodgy as to provenance, there was no Exodus, and Passover "replaced" a former Pagan festival !

We're you regular at all the meetings?

we're you regular at the 3 meetings days watchtower hade?

i remember our was tuesday, thursdays and saturdays.

in reality it's crazy they hade so many meetings.

Yup. I was the same as you guys, always there, i was there with two other guys on the night the whole area got snowed off, nobody else turned up! We did a sort of quick "Meeting" with just us three ! How crazy was THAT ?

I was THE best attender in my Congo, never ill, rarely took a vacation. Which is why I was surprised that when I stopped going, just like that, nobody came to see me for 6 months, and only then because two Elders thought they would DF me for Apostasy, they failed. But such a loving Org. aren't they ?

What an immense waste of time, money, and my life ! I'm so glad I woke up and left.

I just smiled inwardly, as I knew the fallacy well, and I took the thing about me not being fully mind controlled as a compliment ! not what he intended, ha ha.

But I am still intrigued about the Tony Morris thing, we shall find out eventually, us Apostates always do, and usually a few years before the J.W rank and file do !

I have to say that in all my nearly six decades of being a JW, from birth, I NEVER viewed what came from the Org/GB as "from jehovah" in any way more than it was their understanding of Scripture.

Maybe it was that sort of attitude that led an Elder, after I left to say to me, "I never viewed you as 100% a J.W" .

Back on Topic, more or less, "Where's Tony ?" has become the XJW's Where's Wally hasn't it ?

if a publisher openly told the elders that they thought the gb were wrong about some or a lot of things, but said they will not share these thoughts with anyone else then would this be a case of disassociation disgfellowship?.

my guess is lots of elders meetings and shepherding calls to try to get you to say something they could use against you.. but what would be the sin in which you are not repented?.

the only reason to be dissed is non repentance?.

Most of the good letters, full of actual Scriptural truth and proof that the Org is wrong on matters, do not seem to get a reply now apparently !

Be careful folks ! The thing is, there is no way to leave with dignity, and no Statute of Limitations on when they will not DF you ! An Elder told me last year that they still considered me a JW ! after all these years ! Silly sod, I am a fully paid up Atheist Apostate, but he meant they would still DF me of I step out of line, and give them one chance at it !

I was repeatedly asked the "Loyalty" question, the Elders were not concerned with discussing my Bible based differences with J.W doctrine. If you say you do not agree with the GB's teaching they will DF you, if you discuss your reasonings with someone else, they will DF you, Cofty was DF'd for that very thing, just showing a letter he had written to H.Q to another person !

Be very careful, unless you don't mind being DF'd.

Reading the verses in two Psalms that believers love to quote to us non-Theists, but reading them in the context of each Psalm, 10 and 14, it is clear that the Writer (s) of these Psalms are not talking of non-theists, but of people who ignore god's righteous ways.

Such "fools" are on the Broad Road to Hell according to many preachers. Fair enough.

Is The watchtower Dishonest When It comes to the Trinity?

in 1989 the watchtower society published a 32-page booklet entitled "should you believe in the trinity?

" the aim of this publication was to discredit the christian doctrine of the triune nature of god.

the method that the society used to accomplish this goal was to quote from a plethora of resources, both secular and religious, such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, books and historical literature written by individual authors.

This helped me in my waking up process, I had never heard of "quote mining" but I was interested in the Trinity Doctrine and how people could believe it, and looked up the source of one of those quotes in the brochure, I forget now which one exactly, but if you read just two paragraphs more in the quote you could see the writer was saying the OPPOSITE of what the bit the Org. quoted seemed to say !

They are fuc**ng liars ! But realising that made me really begin to question deeply, nobody who is teaching Truth needs to lie about it !
