P.S shows in the post above yours, quite clearly, that "Luke" was very likely a convert to Judaism, and then to Christianity according to what he writes.

this is basically the same as watchtower teach that jesus is so much like his father in every way that you could almost call them the same.. things have changed from when i was pioneering with the old trinity brochure.

You have touched there P.S. upon how deep the mind control goes. This was sadly my experience to a degree. From an early age I wished to gain a greater understanding of the Scriptures, and so purchased Commentaries on every Bible Book, and was not afraid to read them, but being a born-in, the mind control made me dismiss the obvious, and not draw correct conclusions.
For example, I had a couple of Commentaries on "Daniel", both pointed out that it was written just prior to 164 BCE, but my indoctrinated mind dismissed that as wrong ! very sadly. I do think that reading those Scholarly Books helped in my gradual awakening though.
It was only a short time after my initial Epiphany that I began to take as the default position that the JW org. view on any Scripture was wrong, and work back from that position, rarely was my default position confounded !
The Org's Eisegetical approach to Scripture means they ARE wrong about "Michael" and most other things, and their explanation of the Divinity of Christ is far from nuanced or full, and they do not seem to understand, or pretend not to, what the Trinity Doctrine is and why the Church Fathers and later others eventually, naturally, based upon Scripture, brought it about.

I'm sure the Tax Exemption and the Tax Rebates they get here in the U.K,(i.e any Contribution from a Tax Payer will get a 25% tax Rebate from the Government paid direct to the "Charity", so each £ contributed is worth 25% more to the Cong. ), keeps individual Congregations in the "Black", and probably the Branch too to some extent.
The Org. is hoping that by changing a lot of their practices and "Public Face" they will Sucker in more gullible idiots to donate. Will that work, sufficient to outweigh the loss of Tax Exemption ? I doubt it.

Do not berate yourself for your fling with the young lady, these things happen at that age. You were a boy, not an Adult. O.K , at that age we still know it is very ill-advised to have sex, but in the heat of the moment, it happens.
I advise you to thoroughly examine the teachings and practices of the J.W's, and then any guilt will leave you, they do not have, or teach, Truth.
I did that, and successfully expunged my JW personality, and thoughts, and fears, and now I am 100% "worldly", it is as though that young man I was as a J.W was someone else !
Which is true, as you found, when we are "in" to any degree, we cannot be who we really are.
I am now the Real Me, and a Happy Humanist Atheist.
All the very best for a bright, fulfilling future, free of any Evil J.W influence !
