By taking ownership of all Kingdom Halls the K.H Trust has a lot of assets. If they can be successfully sued, they will have the money to pay, that is one consolation.

As all K. Halls and Congregations are their responsibility, they cannot wriggle out of being responsible for what goes on in one of their Branches. Of course, they cannot be held responsible for historic cases of abuse, which is why this move has been done, and they will try and wriggle and put all responsibility upon local Elders to follow the "present" Child Safeguarding Policy. Make a mistake brother Elder, and YOU will pay !

It is still a minefield for any poor victim of this evil, money grubbing org. They are determined not to pay Just Compensation, or Apologise, or give any kind of closure to the poor victims. What utter bastards !

The Inquiry has concluded, with its Report "hoped" to be published by the Summer 2021.

Compare the response and final statement from the Baptist Church, to that of Jehovah's Witness attack dog Shaun Brady.

If I wanted to join a Christian Church the Baptists are showing what a Christian attitude is, and why they have such an excellent attitude. I would think about joining them. The J.W's are showing they wish only to defend that which cannot be defended, and therefore to reduce the size and likelihood of Compensation Payments.

Brady also contends that the Destruction of Records pointed out by Richard Scorer is "Untrue". I wonder if evidence will emerge that vital Documents concerning historical Abuse within Jehovah's Witnesses have been destroyed since the edict about disposing of certain Documents went out. If so Brady has very nearly committed Perjury, and certainly has if he actually had knowledge that such destruction occurred.

I wish you well with what looks to me to be a fascinating and believable Plot. I am someone who has started writing two or three novels, only to give up, out of laziness really, and pressures of life to a lesser degree.

I had to temporarily abandon my last attempt, as Real Life overtook it ! the basis was Russian interference in European and American Politics, sadly, this idea proved to be prescient, so I am going to have to re-work the Plot. Life imitating Art indeed !

Witness reaching out to me after 20+ years...

a few weeks ago; a witness couple from the midwest reached out to me after 25+ years.

they said they were doing a letter writing campaign and decided to reach out to me… they called on my personal cell phone, which was a little surprising.

a few days ago, a couple that i knew from over 40 years ago, sent me a text, again to my personal cell phone.. i assume that they just googled my name to get the personal info.

Ha Ha ! they won't try with me, because I have loudly made my position known, as one Elder said to me a while ago " You have drawn a line ". I also know that they had been warned long ago not to call on me, because as one "Sister" told me an Elder had told her that I would " destroy her faith" !! How fragile their faith must be, if old Phizzy can destroy it that easily.

The danger with this campaign, as Stan Livedeath pointed out, is that old Phizzy is far from unique, so many of us who have left are well equipped to "Destroy their faith", and even our dear friends who may not feel so well equipped can, with a well chosen word or two, explode their bubble.

So, may this, like previous campaigns, backfire on JW Org, because they have a bloody cheek encouraging the R&F Drone JW's to disturb our peace !

I look forward to reading the Work when it is complete.

A couple of things particularly interest me, one is that the Qumran community expected two "Messiahs", and I think two are hinted at in the Canonical Book of Daniel ?? If one is the High Priest of around Daniels time of writing, 164 BCE, is the other future ?

The other point of interest is that Chrystos is a proper name in the 1st Century, so, is the Chrystos mentioned in Josephus therefore without doubt Jesus of Nazareth, or could he be some other person ?

Right at the end Gillies is asked if he attended a seminar in 2017 about destroying JW Org Documents and Records, headed by one Shaun Bartlett.

Gillies all of a sudden cannot recall, yet throughout his Testimony his art of recall has been excellent, quoting document numbers etc with ease, but he cannot recall this Seminar in 2017 ?

Gillies is The Slippery Snake indeed !

Just bumping this thread for anyone who may wish to listen in, especially to that slippery snake Paul Gillies, watch the clever way he will lie, but not in a way that can be called perjury !

He is there , giving evidence, to get the JW org off the hook as far as paying Compensation goes.

The above is something that needs publicising, some Victims may not be aware that there is now no limit on time.

Is Silent Lambs and Bill Bowen still relevant?

when i joined this forum in 2004, silent lambs was a very important venue for those who suffered the crime of child abuse in the jehovah's witness religion.

bill bowen was instrumental in exposing a lot of the cover up along with barbara anderson.

i was wondering if silent lambs is still relevant and does it still help abuse victims?.

Bill and his work, along with that of Barbara, and others, will always be relevant as long as the paedophile Problem of J.W Org remains. And it does remain. Despite their having to pay out huge sums in compensation they HAVE NOT CHANGED !!!

They have not instituted a proper active programme that will protect the Vulnerable, children and other vulnerable ones are as much at Risk within the Org as they ever were.

Keep up your good work, Bill, and all others involved ! Victims need support and love, and we need to keep fighting until the J.W Org does the morally right thing and makes sure no other child or vulnerable person can be Raped and Sodomised, or mentally Tortured or Physically Beaten in their despicable Organisation.
