The first real full blown atheist I met was my biology teacher when I was about 11. He taught evolution and like a good JW, although I studied the subject at school, when I wrote about it I would always write 'evolutionists believe that.....blah blah blah.

He was a great guy and as I had a passion for animals and especially creepy crawlies he took a shine to me (despite me not believing in evolution) and used to let me visit his classroom after school hours to see and handle his collection of creepy crawlies, icluding giant hissing cockroaches and giant millepede and boa constrictor. For some reason I always got top marks in class... heheh

Watchtower Eliminated the "Evil Slave Class" according to E-Watchman? True or False?

looking for information to make the july 15th, 2013 watchtower make sense, i came across the e-watchman website.

is he a jehovah's witnesses waiting for the reformation or a apostate like all of us on jwn?.

his post on the "faithful and evil slave" is very enlightening, according to his question he received from his readers, the watchtower said "there is no evil slave class" to eliminate fear the evil slave is working at bethel!.

Basically I see it as the GB deciding to call themsleves the FDS. Rejecting all other anointed brothers and sisters to this highly elevated position. They then go on to say 'yes, hypothetically there is an evil slave class... however, we are so amazing at doing our job of feeding the 'domestics'... you lowly lot beneath us (including fellow anointed), that Jesus could never ever possibly find us being 'the evil slave'.

my mind was wandering last night, and i though of this as a reply to a jw.. "oh, your the people who believe 8 men in brooklyn, ny are directing the world's only true religion.".

the sentence is a fact that they can't deny, but clearly shows delusion.

any other one sentence "stingers"?.

Jehovah's Witnesses worship the GOLDEN CALF

moses led enslaved jews out of bondage in egypt to promised reward.. moses went up on the mountain (sinai) and the people waited, ran out of faith and made an idol (golden calf) to worship.. those people thought they needed a centralized worship focused on the visible.

they constructed their own.. the last centralized focus of worship, the temple in jerusalem, brought jews from everywhere to focus on one location.. when that was destroyed, they scattered and ran for the hills.. the true believers who replaced the jews (spiritual jews) banded together and concocted the church universal (catholic).

to centralize a theocratic government.

King Jereboam built a Golden Calf at Bethel, so the Israelites in the Northern tribes didn't go and worship at Jerusalem.

Today the Golden Calf is at Bethel so JWs don't worship Jesus.

Bro at table set up wouldn't answer question (but still counted his time)

i asked when they would start offering gray bible and she said two weeks, then the only bro at the table saw my headphones in my hand started in by saying " i see you're plugged in, do you have a smartphone?

to which i said no, because i just had a feeling that must've been a new angle to tell folks about the new bible app.the sis said they would start offering it in two weeks the bro goes on to mention that you can download the app and you get the bible in five different languages and mentions some other stuff you can do onthe app, i said all this technology reminds when the society admonished you all to stay away from the interenet about 25 years ago .

you should've seen his face, he was smiling but was thinking "how does show know" behind that smile.
