This Tired, Lonely Man
by compound complex inthis tired, lonely man has been snared, but i protest little .
she holds me tenderly in her tightening but welcome thrall.
i cave willingly -- oh, so willingly -- to her amatory attentions.

Well, if you have some grievances, then that makes some sense. I guess we'll just have to wait till you're ready to talk about them. You do realise though, that a number of apologists come here and other websites and end up either going back feeling even more disturbed than they already are or becoming fully 'apostate'.
However, I'm sure we'll all be more than happy to help you to fully awaken... you surely can't fail to see all the problems that there are. Even my elder hubby can (and he wouldn't visit this site).

SFPW.... my mother, my hubby, my children and their families, my extended family are ALL JWs and not one of them would come to a website like this... why have you come here?
If the WT religion is so wonderful then why allow yourself become 'infected' with the 'aposta-disease'. Aren't you going directly against WT counsel. As was said to some other JW apologists on yet another 'apostate' website..............
Watchtower 2011 7/15 p.16 pars.6-7 ~ Will You Heed Jehovah’s Clear Warnings?
“How can we protect ourselves against false teachers? The Bible’s counsel….is clear. (Read Romans 16:17 ; 2 John 9-11 ) “Avoid them,” says God’s Word. Other translations render that phrase “turn away from them,” “keep away from them,” and “stay away from them!” There is nothing ambiguous about that inspired counsel….apostates are “mentally diseased”….( 1 Tim. 6:3 , 4 ) Jehovah, the Great Physician, tells us to avoid contact with them….are we determined to heed his warning in all respects? What is involved in avoiding false teachers? We do not receive them into our homes or greet them…. refuse to read their literature…. examine their Web sites, or add our comments to their blogs. Why do we take such a firm stand? Because of love. We love “the God of truth”….( Ps. 31:5 ; John 17:17 )
As a LOYAL JW, you should be heeding this counsel. Obviously you are not. You can get away with it by hiding behind an avatar and pc screen. You can't get away with it from Jehovah. So obviously you don't believe it's wrong to do. So you don't believe that the GB are to be obeyed? This means you are now one of us... an apostate.

A mole within the FDS!
by braincleaned init has been now verified that there was a traitor within the gb!.
an insider had the courage and audacity to verify this, taking the risk of being kicked out of bethel, with a cross carved on his forehead.. it became apparent that all the men of the gb where naturally bald, even when some tried to hide it with a clever and stylistic comb-over.
but there was some suspicion that pierce and losch were not true bald men.

How I recently handled JWs at my door
by Christian guy inthe jws stopped by my house a couple weeks ago on a saturday morning.
i knew that with others most likely waiting for them out in the car they probably did not then have much time to engage in any serious conversation.
so i let them talk while i feigned interest in what they had to say.

Awesome!! Looks like they hung themselves with their own rope! I hope they go away and really think about it. The points you made are the ones that have always given me my doubts. Once my blinkers were off I could really see what the TRUE gospel is.... and it's NOT the one the WT preaches!

SFPW, forget about the numbers. Why is always about numbers. It's people that matter. This time last year a member of this board hanged himself because he couldn't cope with being shunned. It shocked all of us. Tell me, have you ever been 'sent to Coventry' as a child? Have you ever felt as if nobody loves you? Have you ever felt totally isolated? Jesus said you would know his followers by the love they show towards each other. Where's the love in shunning? We were all shocked and stunned when we found out about 'Oopah'. If you want statistics, how about counting the numbers of exJWs who've been ravaged emotionally by the practice of shunning.
Watch this video that Cedars made and then tell me you feel no emotion....

At the end of the day, everyone has to do what is right for them... not anyone else.
I see it in my own situation, I can't leave because leaving would mean losing my family. I talk to my family but although they can see lots of problems and they have lots of doubt, for them it's a safe, comfortable place to be. For my mum, she's elderly and has been in for over 60 years, it would actually be detrimental to destroy her faith.
If someone finds that being away from it is actually making them unhappy, what right has anyone else to say it's wrong for them?

Had one CO few years ago. He was great and really liked our family. Hubby got asked to give talks for several CA's. Next CO was a stickler. Hubby wasn't doing a regular family study, so he was dropped.
