I've been found out!

well, thats it folks.. my identity on here has been rumbled and reported to the elders.

someone, somehow, has figured out that im a member of this site and - rather than speak to me - has promptly reported me to the elders.

i just feel sad for my daughter.

Soo sorry Pale Emperor you going thru this but I agree your wife & duaghter should be with you... Your wife might be encouraged by her family to leave you because they will tell her, she & ur duaghter are "in spiritual danger" & will miss out on "everlasting life", make sure you stay close to them, be very loving & do family things with them, show them ur still that wonderful husband & father & don't need to be in a cult to prove it...

About ur in law OMG i wouldn't allow her in ur home anymore, the nerve of her invading ur privacy, it sounds too me she was on a mission, she not only betrayed you but your wife's trust, totally disgusting! They have no boundaries & NO SHAME!!

Attendances & Baptisms at Summer Conventions

there have been very informative threads on presentations and audience reactions ("thrilled", "emotional") at this summer's regional conventions (formerly district conventions) but little on actual attendance numbers and numbers baptized.

or could i be directed to current threads discussing these aspects - i searched but found nothing.

I will be going to the one in long beach, Ca in August. Did you see any "apostates" outside the convention?. I must add I have been at that site for years and the attendance was on average 12K.

Reaction of the JW believers to the 2016 RC

there are threads on the content of the rc and reaction of awake jws here, but how are indoctrinated jws reacting to the convention.

my family and i have not attended yet, but i am bracing myself for it.

anybody talking in jw circles?

Is anyone going to a convention in southern California Long Beach? I am going to an English convention this year in August just to hear the nonsense cult talks, I have no relation to any congregations in the English language.

My first year international convention at this location there were soo many "apostates" outside, I believe easily like 40 of them, I remember wondering what was going on, my study teacher said they were bitter people who are expelled and just angry, one thing that stuck in my mind was reading this board that said "READ YOUR BIBLE NOT WATCHTOWER LITERATURE" and another one saying "1914", this was 18 years ago, I remember thinking we do read the bible what are they talking about. Now after being awake I understand what they meant, I didn't know anything about many things in the bible until now. Years later this convention site, have had some "apostates" outside still as I would arrived, I am now tempted to go up to them and say Hi since this will be my last convention I will attend.

Going Rogue on part at the RC/Circuit Assembly?

with all the hoopla going on about the rc, i was wondering if anyone has ever heard of or witnessed to someone giving a talk at the rc/ca that went rogue and just started lambasting the society and calling it a cult and liars ect.

i would love to hear about the experience.

like did they turn the mikes off on them?

I had heard from a longtime elder that the only brothers "allowed" to wear a mustache was limited to Latin/Hispanic brothers in the 70s-80s in the USA this elder is Caucasian & said they weren't permitted to have a mustache when he was growing up, they would not have privileges if they had one, has anyone heard of such thing?

My brother died last night

i found out this morning that my brother died last night, he was also an ex jw, 73 years old and died of heart disease and kidney failure.

it was not totally unexpected, as he had been in poor health, but it's a blow, especially as i just lost another brother two years ago.

there were six of us, now only four.

The radio station I hear here locally interviewed the father who with his wife participated in obtaining that billboard because their son & daughter are still in Scientology. .. the interesting part was that the father & Mother live in Florida, they were fading away from Scientology. .. when it got found out they weren't attending services any longer & drifted from the church, well it got reported back to church members & their adult children & family... now they are being shunned & seamed "supresive persons" ..he also mentioned that scientology recruit to indoctrinate kids as young as 10, was shocking to hear..... & so familiar as in the JWs!!

Jajajaja.... this is soo funny I felt the same way about Game of Thrones, while being an asleep JW I feared Armageddon will be here before I would see the finale of GOT....Once I was awake the next thing came to mind that I have a great chance I will get to see how GOT will end!

Also look at this week's study article picture, the one with the angel directing the JWS to the house, i believe I found a subliminal image of a skull/ghost on the right side of the house, where there's a dark wall.... very erie spooky... i was bored too & spotted it

Haha i a when agree with simon, just because they didn't watch it doesn't mean the rest of us can't discuss the episodes... sorry, if anyone doesn't watch it when it airs then it's on them & too bad ;).... Anyway one show more over & the waiting begins for next season.... &, one more to begin later this month: "winter is Coming"
